The Domus TURIN 2LT postlight is a twin-head exterior post — 2,440 mm high, 680 mm wide, B22, 240 V, IP43, in five colours.
⭐ The triple-head post at the same 2.47 m publishes identical width and height. ⚠ Identical figures on two SKUs normally reads as a duplication error. ⭐⭐ HERE IT IS RIGHT: the family prose lists 2.47 m under both twin and triple, so the two share a post and an arm span and the triple simply adds a lantern on top of the column. ⭐ Worth knowing if you are comparing the two listings and wondering which figure to trust.
⭐ Two lamps are needed and neither is included. ⭐ The lanterns are 680 mm apart and seen together, so any difference in colour temperature or brightness is unmissable. ⭐ Buy them as a pair from one batch and replace them as a pair. ⭐ Opal rather than clear — at this height a clear lamp is a bright point visible from the road and from neighbouring properties, where an opal lamp fills the lantern and reads as a glowing object. ⭐ Warm rather than cool: on a frontage post, cool white reads as institutional.
⭐ Wall bracket, pillar mount, post top, pendant, and single, twin or triple-head posts. ⭐⭐ THE ARGUMENT FOR THE RANGE IS COHERENCE ACROSS A PROPERTY: tall twins at the entrance, singles along the drive and a wall bracket at the door read as one scheme because they are literally the same lantern. ⭐ Specifying three different products for three positions is the common alternative and it always shows.
Allow up to 10 business days for production. ⭐ Published, which is unusual in this catalogue.

Twin-head exterior postlight. 2,440 mm high, 680 mm wide. B22, two lamps required, neither included. 220–240 V. IP43. Die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses. Five colours. Made to order, up to 10 business days. 1-year warranty. ⭐ AT 2,440 mm BOTH LANTERNS SIT WELL ABOVE HEAD HEIGHT, which turns the post from a garden element into street furniture — seen over a fence from the road, and lighting a wider area because the sources are further from the ground. ⭐ THE SAVING IS THE GROUNDWORK, NOT THE FITTING: two heads on one post halves the footing, the conduit, the cable and, on a driveway, the paving that has to be cut and reinstated. ⚠ THE TRADE IS SPACING — 680 mm apart, so a focal point rather than an even run.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Broader, softer coverage and less intensity directly beneath, because light falls off with the square of the distance. At 2,440mm both lanterns sit well above head height, which turns the post from a garden element into street furniture — seen over a fence or hedge from the road. For a driveway you walk and drive along, broader is better and fewer posts are needed.
Beside a path in a courtyard, where a 1.49m twin does the same job without dominating. The twin-head TURIN comes at 1.49m, 2.11m and 2.47m; this is the tallest and it suits a driveway entrance or a frontage where the post is part of the address.
The groundwork. Every post means a footing dug and poured, a conduit run and a cable pulled — and on a driveway that often means cutting and reinstating paving. Two heads on one post halves all of it, and halves the obstructions on a narrow verge.
Spacing. The two heads are about 680mm apart where two separate posts can be metres apart, so a twin suits a focal point rather than lighting a run evenly. It also catches more wind at this height — two lanterns on arms at 2.44m is a meaningful sail area, so the footing matters more here than on any other arrangement except the triple.
Because they share a post. The family prose lists 2.47m under both twin and triple, so the two use the same column and arm span and the triple simply adds a lantern on top. Identical figures on two SKUs normally reads as a duplication error; here it is correct.
Yes. The lanterns are 680mm apart and seen together, so any difference in colour temperature or brightness is unmissable. Buy them as a pair from one batch and replace them as a pair. Choose opal rather than clear — at this height a clear lamp is a bright point visible from the road and from neighbouring properties, where an opal lamp fills the lantern and reads as a glowing object.
Wind-driven rain, mainly. IP43 covers spraying water to 60 degrees from vertical, and at 2.44m the lanterns are well above any sprinkler throw with the heads sheltering their own openings. But a tall post is more exposed to wind-driven rain because there is less around it to break the wind — on an open frontage or a coastal site, expect water to find the lanterns eventually and check both sets of seals as part of any maintenance.
