Sunset - 15W/25W/35W Colour Switchable Led Ceiling Light Ip54 240V - Trio

The Domus SUNSET TRIO is a slimline surface-mounted LED ceiling light in round or square, at 250 mm, 300 mm or 400 mm, IP54, with a 120° spread and switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K.

Sizing it to a room

• 250 mm / 15 W — a hallway, a WC, a small bathroom, a walk-in robe, a laundry.
• 300 mm / 25 W — a bedroom or a bathroom.
• 400 mm / 35 W — a living area, a large bedroom, a kitchen as one of two.
• ⚠ Round or square is purely visual and both come in all three sizes. Square suits square rooms and hallways with square detailing; round is the safer default.

Why an oyster rather than downlights

• ✅ One fitting, one hole in the ceiling — or none. It is surface mounted, so it goes onto concrete, rated ceilings, shallow voids and rentals where downlights cannot.
• ✅ Even, shadowless light from a 120° spread across the whole diffuser — no scallops on the walls, nothing to look into.
• ✅ The trimless slimline body is a long way from the domed plastic oyster this replaces; at 50–63 mm deep it sits close to the ceiling.
• ⚠ It is a functional light. In a room where the light fitting is meant to be a feature, a pendant does more.

IP54 and coastal use

• Protected against splashing water from any direction — a bathroom outside the shower zone, a laundry, a covered alfresco ceiling.
• ✅ Domus specifically recommends it for coastal dwellings, and the reason is the white polycarbonate body: no metal to corrode in salt air, which is where painted aluminium fittings fail first.
• ⚠ It is not IP65. Directly above a shower or in an exposed position, ask us for a higher rating.

Colour and dimming

Switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K, and fully dimmable with suitable dimmers.

• 3000 K for bedrooms and hallways; 4000 K for bathrooms, laundries and kitchens; 5700 K for garages.
• ⚠ Set the switch before the fitting goes up, and set every fitting in a house the same way unless you mean them to differ.
• ⚠ “Suitable” dimmers — tell us the dimmer and we will confirm the pairing before you buy both.

Where it works

• ✅ Bathrooms outside the shower zone, laundries, hallways, bedrooms.
• ✅ Coastal houses — polycarbonate body, no metal to corrode.
• ✅ Concrete, rated and shallow ceilings — surface mounted.
• ⛔ Not directly above a shower or in an exposed position — ask us for IP65.
• ⚠ Choose the size for the room, not the look — it sets the wattage.

Round or square in 250 mm (15 W, 50 mm deep), 300 mm (25 W, 58 mm) or 400 mm (35 W, 63 mm). 250 mm output 1,300 / 1,400 / 1,320 lm at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K (switchable); ⚠ 300 mm and 400 mm outputs not published — ask us. 120° spread, CRI ≥80, SMD, 50,000 hrs. Fully dimmable with suitable dimmers. 220–240 V AC, IP54 — suited to damp and coastal locations. Warranty 3 years.
