The Domus STRAP-FL is a 1,520 mm floor lamp taking a single E27 globe, 220 mm wide, in black or white.

1,520 mm is a proper floor-lamp height — it puts the globe above head height for someone seated and just below eye level for someone standing, which is where a floor lamp needs to be if it is going to light a chair without glaring at the room.

Its footprint is 220 mm, so it takes very little floor. That is what makes it usable beside a sofa arm or in the corner behind a chair, where a wide-based lamp would be in the way.

What you get and what you choose
  • A single E27 lamp holder, 60 W maximum — the globe is not included.
  • ✅ E27 is the most common base there is, so the choice is wide open: opal or filament, warm or neutral, dimmable or not.
  • ✅ You can change the character of the lamp entirely by changing the globe, without touching the fitting.
  • ⚠ Our record says 25 W. That is not the fitting's limit — the datasheet says 60 W maximum. The same 25 W appears on its stablemate the ALLEGRA, which suggests a figure applied across the range rather than measured. 60 W is the number that governs what you can safely fit.
Choosing the globe
  • For reading: a 9–11 W LED E27 around 800–1,000 lm at 3000 K.
  • For atmosphere: a filament LED at 1800–2200 K. It will not light a book, and in a tall lamp with a visible globe that is often exactly right.
  • ⚠ If the globe is visible from a seated position at 1,520 mm, choose an opal or frosted globe rather than a clear one, or you will be looking at the filament.
  • Dimming depends on the globe. A dimmable E27 plus a plug-in or inline dimmer works; a non-dimmable globe will not dim whatever you plug it into.

The narrow footprint is what lets it sit beside a sofa arm where a wide-based lamp would be in the way.

What is the maximum globe wattage?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
