The Domus PARIS 2LT is a two-lantern post light — 2020 mm high, 610 mm wide, die-cast aluminium and moulded acrylic, IP43, 2 × B22, in five colours.

What else is in the Paris range?

Fourteen pieces, all in the same five colours and the same die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lens. One-light postlights in three heights, two-light in three, a three-light, up and down S-arm wall brackets, a half wall bracket, a pillar mount for masonry piers, a post top with a 60mm fitter for re-heading an existing post, and a chain pendant for porches. Nothing in the catalogue presents it as one range.

Why does that matter?

Because one visual language can cover a whole property — gate piers, driveway, path, front door, porch and side passage. Very few exterior ranges go that far, and it is the main reason to choose Paris over picking individual fittings that nearly match.

What should I watch across a whole-property order?

Two things. Every piece needs globes and none includes them. And everything is B22 except the half wall bracket, which is E27 — so a single-type globe order will leave one fitting dark. Send us the property and we will build the list, including the right globes for each piece.

Why choose this height?

At just over 2m the lanterns sit above head height, so you look under the light rather than into it — which is the difference between lighting a path and dazzling the people on it. The 1.38m version sits below eye level and its lanterns are seen directly, which is fine as a garden marker but less good on an approach.

Is it easy to change the lamps?

Easier than the taller posts. At 2.02m the lamps are still reachable from a short step, where the 2.37m version needs a proper ladder on a garden surface. That is worth weighing if the post is somewhere awkward to get a ladder to.

How tall is it really?

2020mm. The title says 2.09m — a 70mm difference, consistent with the rest of the Paris range, where every post runs 50 to 80mm shorter than its title. Set out from 2020mm.

How far from a driveway should it sit?

At least 400mm back from the edge. The head spans 610mm, so it overhangs roughly 305mm each side of the post centre, and a lantern overhanging a driveway sits at wing-mirror height on a raised vehicle. The depth front-to-back is not published, which matters if the post is close to a wall — ask us.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
