The Domus PARIS 1LT is a single-lantern post light — 1260 mm high, die-cast aluminium and moulded acrylic, IP43, 1 × B22, in five colours.
| Range | Title vs measured |
|---|---|
| Vienna | ⭐ 0 mm — exact |
| Monaco | ⭐ Consistently +20 mm |
| Avignon | ⚠ −50 to +10 mm — mixed |
| ⭐ Paris (this range) | ⚠ Always +50 to +80 mm shorter than the title |
| Chester | ⚠ +5 to +80 mm |
⭐ IP43 is protection against solid objects above 1 mm and water SPRAYED at up to 60° from vertical. ✅ Ordinary rain is fine. ⛔ A pop-up sprinkler is a jet from below and is not covered, ⭐ and neither is hosing. ⭐ Site it clear of sprinkler throw before the base is poured.

Made in Italy, assembled and powder coated in Australia. Five colours. 12-month replacement warranty. Made to order, allow up to 10 business days. ⛔ ITS TITLE SAYS 1.31m AND ITS OWN DESCRIPTION SAYS 1260mm — a 50mm difference in the supplier's own copy. ⭐ MEASURED ACROSS 36 DOMUS POSTLIGHTS: 22 differ by more than 25mm, up to 80mm, and the SIGN VARIES — Avignon runs taller than its title, Paris always shorter — so it is not a rounding convention. ⭐ ON A PARIS POST, TAKE THE MEASURED HEIGHT. ⛔ B22 bayonet, not E27, and not included.

1260mm. The title says 1.31m and the supplier's own description says "Dimensions: W 175mm x H 1260mm" — a 50mm difference in the same listing. So this is not a metafield entry error; the discrepancy is in the published copy.
We measured it across the Domus post range: of 36 postlights publishing both a title height and a measured height, 14 agree within 25mm and 22 do not, with gaps up to 80mm. Our first reading was that it might be a rounding convention, but it is not — the sign varies. Avignon listings run negative, meaning the post is taller than the title; Paris always runs positive, meaning shorter.
Yes, by range, and it is useful. Vienna is exact at 0mm. Monaco is consistently 20mm shorter than its title. Paris — this range — is always 50 to 80mm shorter. Chester varies from 5 to 80mm. So on a Paris post, take the measured height rather than the title.
When the post is being set out against a fence line, a gate post, a window sill or a row of neighbouring posts, where the eye reads the alignment directly. It matters far less on an open lawn where nothing sits beside it for comparison. Know which situation you are in before deciding whether to care.
No — it requires 1 x B22 globe, not included, so the post is concreted in and does not light until someone supplies a lamp. Order it with the post.
No. B22 is the bayonet base — push and twist — while the Domus Monaco posts use the E27 screw base. They do not interchange, so a spare from another fitting will not fit. It is worth checking which base your other exterior fittings use before buying lamps in bulk.
No maximum wattage is published, which matters in an enclosed acrylic lantern where heat has nowhere to go. Prefer LED, which runs far cooler than the incandescent lamps these lanterns were originally designed around. Ask us before fitting anything large.
