The Domus ORBIS is a 4-in-1 retrofit bathroom heater in white — 2,250 W of PTC heat, 300 m³/h extraction and a 30 W switchable LED light, in an ultra-modern circular fascia, designed to replace an old 3-in-1 infrared unit.
⚠ Our record understated this by about seventy-five times. The wattage field held 30 W — the light. The appliance draws 2,250 W on heat, which is a dedicated-circuit conversation with your electrician.
They share almost everything — 2,250 W PTC heat, a 60 W AC motor, 300 m³/h extraction, a 330 × 350 mm cutout, a 390 × 390 mm fascia, a 100 mm duct and 158 mm of depth. The differences are two:
✅ They drop into the same hole, so this is a look-and-brightness choice, not an engineering one.
This range exists to replace the old three-in-one units with the glowing orange bars. The 330 × 350 mm cutout is close to what many of those left behind, and the 390 × 390 mm fascia covers a ragged old opening.
⚠ Check the clearance above the ceiling before you order. The body is 158 mm deep and the retrofit range wants roughly 200 mm of height above — a low-pitch roof or a duct running over the spot will fail it. That is the figure most likely to stop the job and it appears on no page.
⚠ 300 m³/h is a modest extraction rate — right for a small or medium bathroom, marginal for a large one that holds steam. If condensation rather than cold is your real problem, ask us about the 500 m³/h AIRSWAY or INFINITY.
Ships with a 3 m flexible duct, exterior grille and a 6-switch digital wall controller. 240 V AC, a 60 W AC motor. ⚠ No warranty is recorded — its premium siblings carry five years, and we will not state a term we do not hold. Ask us before you quote.
Cutout 330 × 350 mm, fascia 390 × 390 mm circular, depth 158 mm, duct 100 mm. 240 V AC; heat 2,250 W, motor 60 W AC, extraction 300 m³/h; light 30 W LED, 1,000 / 1,150 / 1,100 lm at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K switchable, CRI >80. Supplied with 3 m flexible duct, exterior grille and 6-switch digital wall controller. ⚠ Warranty not recorded — ask us. Licensed electrician required.

2,250 watts on heat. Our record said 30 W, which is the light unit — understated by about seventy-five times. At 2,250 W your electrician needs the real figure, and it is likely a dedicated circuit.
They share the guts — 2,250 W PTC, 60 W AC motor, 300 m³/h, the same 330 × 350 mm cutout, 390 × 390 mm fascia, 100 mm duct and 158 mm depth — so they drop into the same hole. The ORBIS is circular and its light is brighter (1,000–1,150lm against 850–950). The HEATCORE is a flush square that lines up with square vents and skylights. It is a look-and-brightness choice, not an engineering one.
That is what the retrofit range is for — a 330 by 350 mm cutout close to what many old units left, with a 390 by 390 mm fascia that covers a ragged opening. Check the clearance above the ceiling first: the body is 158 mm deep and the range wants roughly 200 mm above, and a low-pitch roof or a duct over the spot will fail it.
PTC heat self-limits — the element’s resistance rises as it warms so it cannot run away, where infrared bars glow at full heat until switched off. It warms air rather than one patch of floor, and nothing glows at ceiling level, which matters at night.
For a small or medium bathroom, yes. It is modest against the 500 m³/h premium models, so if condensation rather than cold is your real problem, or the bathroom is large, ask us about the AIRSWAY or INFINITY.
No. It ducts outside through 100 mm and ships with 3 metres of flexible duct and an exterior grille.
Not recorded for this product, and we would rather say so than guess. Its premium siblings carry five years. Ask us and we will confirm with Domus before you order.
