Product Description
xThe Domus NEO-PRO SM is a surface-mounted LED downlight in black or white — 13 W, 25 W or 35 W, 75° beam, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K, and IP65 from the front.
⚠ The IP65 applies to the front only. The datasheet qualifies it and our page carried the bare number.
That means the face is sealed against dust and water jets, and the back and the mounting surface are not. In practice:
- ✅ Fine on a covered soffit, an alfresco ceiling or a bathroom ceiling, where water can only arrive from below and in front.
- ⛔ Not for a position where water can reach behind it — an exposed soffit edge, a wall where water runs down, or anywhere it is hosed from above.
Ask us if the position is exposed, and let your electrician site it to AS/NZS 3000.
✅ Surface mounted — no hole in the ceiling
This is the reason to choose it over every recessed downlight in this catalogue:
- Concrete ceilings. You cannot recess into a slab without coring. A surface-mounted fitting screws to it.
- No ceiling void — apartments, second storeys with shallow battens, rendered soffits.
- Insulation stays intact. Nothing is cut, so nothing has to be cleared around it.
- Fire and acoustic ceilings stay unbroken, which in a rated ceiling is not a small thing.
- ⚠ The trade: it projects 107 mm below the ceiling and it is visible. That is a design decision, not a compromise — a row of them reads as deliberate.
Three wattages, one listing
13 W, 25 W and 35 W, all Ø90 mm and 107 mm deep. The 13 W gives 1,000 / 1,200 / 1,100 lm at 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K.

- 13 W — general room lighting, about 1.5 m apart.
- 25 W — higher ceilings, or fewer fittings.

The 75° beam
Wide — between the DECO's 90° wash and the SCOOP's 60° accent. That makes it a general room light rather than a spot, and it suits the surface-mount format: a projecting fitting throwing a narrow beam draws attention to itself.
SMD, CRI ≥80, 50,000 hours, Ø90 mm, 107 mm deep. Fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer — ⚠ tell us which one.

Questions
What does "IP65 from front only" mean?
The face is sealed against dust and water jets and the back and mounting surface are not. It is fine on a covered soffit, an alfresco ceiling or a bathroom ceiling where water can only arrive from below and in front. It is not for a position where water can reach behind it — an exposed soffit edge, a wall where water runs down, or anywhere hosed from above. Our page carried the bare IP65 without the qualifier.
Why choose surface mounted over recessed?
Because sometimes you cannot recess. A concrete slab needs coring; an apartment or a shallow batten space has no void; a fire-rated or acoustic ceiling should stay unbroken; and insulation stays intact when nothing is cut. The trade is that it projects 107 mm below the ceiling and is visible — which a row of them turns into a deliberate look rather than a compromise.
How bright are the 25W and 35W?
Not recorded, and we will not scale the 13 W figure by arithmetic because efficacy does not hold constant across a range. The 13 W gives 1,000 to 1,200 lumens depending on colour setting. Ask us for the larger two and we will get them from Domus.
Which wattage should I choose?
13 W for general room lighting at about 1.5 m spacing; 25 W for higher ceilings or fewer fittings; 35 W for commercial, retail, high bays and stairwells. All three are the same Ø90 mm body.
Is the top setting 5000K?
No — 5700 K, which is colder and bluer. It is set before installation and cannot be changed afterwards.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with a suitable dimmer. Tell us which one you plan to use — LED dimming compatibility is much easier to settle before installation than after.
What is the warranty?
Not recorded for this product. Others in this catalogue run from one to five years, and we would rather tell you we do not hold the figure than guess. Ask us and we will confirm with Domus.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
