The Domus HEATCORE is a 4-in-1 retrofit bathroom heater in white or black — 2,250 W of PTC heat, 300 m³/h extraction and a 30 W switchable LED light, designed to drop into the hole an old 3-in-1 infrared unit left behind.

⚠ Our record understated this by about seventy-five times. The wattage field held 30 W — the light. The appliance draws 2,250 W on heat. Tell your electrician the real number.

What “retrofit” means here, and the number that decides it

This model exists to replace those old three-in-one units with the glowing orange bars — the ones that heat the patch of floor directly beneath and nothing else. The appeal is that you get modern PTC heat without recutting the ceiling. Whether that works comes down to three measurements:

  • Cutout 330 × 350 mm — much smaller than the premium models, and close to what many older units left.
  • Fascia 390 × 390 mm — which will cover a slightly ragged old opening.
  • ⛔ 200 mm minimum height clearance above the ceiling, against a 158 mm-deep body. This appears nowhere on our page and it is the figure most likely to stop the job — a low-pitch roof or a duct running over the spot will fail it. Check before you order.
Why PTC beats the infrared bars it replaces
  • It self-limits. A PTC element's resistance rises as it heats, so it cannot run away. Infrared bars glow at full heat until switched off.
  • It warms air, not a spotlight of floor. Combined with the circulating fan, the room warms rather than one tile.
  • Nothing glows. No orange bar at ceiling level, which matters in a bathroom used at night.
The four functions
  • Heater — 2,250 W PTC.
  • Exhaust fan — 300 m³/h through a 100 mm duct.
  • Circulating fan — brings warm air back down.
  • Light — 30 W LED, 850 / 950 / 900 lm at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K switchable, CRI above 80.

⚠ 300 m³/h is a lower extraction rate than the premium models' 500, which is right for a smaller bathroom and marginal for a large one that holds steam. If condensation is your actual problem rather than cold, ask us about the AIRSWAY or INFINITY.

Ships with a 3 m flexible duct, exterior grille and a 6-switch digital wall controller. It ducts through 100 mm and must vent outside, not into the roof space. 240 V AC, a 60 W AC motor, and at 2,250 W it is a dedicated-circuit conversation with your electrician.

Questions
How much power does it draw?

2,250 watts on heat. Our record said 30 W, which is the light unit — understated by about seventy-five times. At 2,250 W your electrician needs the real figure before quoting.

Will it fit where my old heater was?

That is what it is designed for — the cutout is 330 by 350 mm with a 390 by 390 mm fascia that will cover a slightly ragged old opening. But check the clearance above the ceiling first: it needs a minimum of 200 mm, and that figure appears nowhere on our page. A low-pitch roof or a duct running over the spot will fail it.

Why replace an infrared 3-in-1?

PTC heat self-limits — the element’s resistance rises as it warms, so it cannot run away, where infrared bars glow at full heat until switched off. It also warms air rather than spotlighting one patch of floor, and nothing glows at ceiling level, which matters in a bathroom used at night.

Is 300 m³/h enough extraction?

For a small or medium bathroom, yes. It is lower than the 500 m³/h on the premium models, so if condensation rather than cold is your real problem — or the bathroom is large — ask us about the AIRSWAY or INFINITY instead.

Can it vent into the roof space?

No. It ducts outside through 100 mm and ships with 3 metres of flexible duct and an exterior grille.

What is the warranty?

Which light colour should I choose?

4000 K for most bathrooms, 3000 K for a warmer feel, 5000 K for the most clinical. It is set at installation, so match it to your vanity light.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
