DOMUS GT-502 Siena Sphere Wall Bracket

The Domus GT-502 Siena is a 200 mm sphere on a wall bracket — 200 mm wide, 300 mm high, 330 mm projection, IP43, taking one E27 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

The sheet reads: “Requires: Lamp (not included) GT-544 - GT-545 Wall Bracket GT-502 Wall Bracket GT-503 - GT-504 180 mm Pillar Mount”.

• ⭐ “Requires: Lamp (not included)” is true and useful — you buy the E27 separately.
• ⭐ Everything after it is a list of the range's configurations, not a parts list.
• ⭐ And it names GT-502 — this very product. A fitting cannot require itself, so the line settles its own reading.
• ✅ Nothing extra is needed. The bracket arrives complete; you supply the lamp.

⭐ 330 mm of projection — check it before you fit it

• 200 mm wide, 300 mm high, 330 mm projection.
• ⚠ The projection is greater than the height, which is unusual and worth noticing: the sphere sits well out from the wall on an arm rather than close against it.
• ⭐ Which is what a sphere needs. An omnidirectional fitting hard against a wall wastes half its light on the brickwork; on an arm it lights in every direction properly.
• ⚠ But 330 mm is a lot in a passage. Beside a doorway or in a narrow side entry, measure it against the traffic before committing to a made-to-order fitting.

⭐ The 200 mm sphere across the range

• This wall bracket (GT-502), the GT-530 pillar mount and the GT-535 pendant all use the 200 mm sphere.
• ⚠ But no Siena post uses it — the posts start at 250 mm. ⭐ So a 200 mm scheme can cover the walls, the piers and the porch, but not the driveway.
• ⭐ If you want a matched post, step the whole scheme up to 250 mm — the GT-531 pillar mount, GT-536 pendant and GT-553/555 posts all share that sphere.
• ⭐ 24 Siena listings in all — two wall lights, a wall bracket, four pillar mounts, three pendants and fourteen posts. ⚠ No listing mentions the others.

⛔ An E27 holder with no maximum wattage

• One E27 lamp, not included, no maximum recorded in any source.
• ✅ 8–10 W E27 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, rated for enclosed and damp use.
• ⭐ On the smallest sphere at eye level beside a door, warm and modest matters most — the same lamp behind less diffusing surface glows brighter than it would in a 300 mm sphere.
• ⚠ Check the lamp fits the opening — a compact globe rather than a long candle.

Where it works

• Either side of a front door, as a matched pair.
• Along a boundary wall or a courtyard, repeated.
• Matched with the GT-530 pillar mount and GT-535 pendant, which share the 200 mm sphere.
• ⚠ Not in a narrow passage without checking the 330 mm projection.
• ⚠ IP43, so not a wash-down or coastal front-line position.
