The Domus TRAK is a 2 metre three-circuit lighting track in black or white — 40 × 40 mm, surface mounted to a ceiling or wall, 240 V, IP20.

✅ “Three circuit” is the whole point, and it is worth understanding before you buy.

A single-circuit track switches every fitting on it together. A three-circuit track carries three independently switched supplies in the same extrusion, and each spotlight is set to one of them when it is clipped in.

  • ✅ One run of track, three lighting scenes. In a shop: the window on circuit one, the general wash on two, the feature display on three — from three switches, with no separate track runs.
  • ✅ Change the scheme without an electrician. Move a fitting along the track, or re-assign it to a different circuit, and the zoning changes. That flexibility is why retail and galleries use track.
  • ⚠ The fittings must be three-circuit adaptors to use it. A single-circuit head on a three-circuit track will not select. Tell us the heads you plan to use and we will confirm compatibility.
Planning a run
  • 2 metre lengths, joined with connectors to make longer runs. The TRAK range includes live and dead ends, straight joiners, centre feeds, and mini joiners — so a run can be fed from an end or from the middle.
  • Ceiling or wall mounted, and it can be suspended where the ceiling is high — ask us about the fixings.
  • ✅ Any required height, as Domus put it — a suspended run in a high space puts the fittings where the light is needed.
  • ⚠ Plan the feed position first. A centre feed halves the current in each direction and is usually the better choice on a long run.
⚠ What we cannot tell you — and on a track it matters

The record for this product holds the length, the section, the voltage and IP20, and nothing else. In particular it does not record:

  • The current rating per circuit — which is the figure that decides how many fittings you can put on a run. A track carrying twenty 35 W heads is a different proposition from one carrying six.
  • The maximum load, and whether it differs between the three circuits.
  • Which adaptors and heads are compatible beyond the Domus range.

Ask us before you design a run, and we will get the current rating from Domus. On a commercial fitout this is not a detail — it is the constraint the whole layout works within.

IP20 — indoor and dry

Indoor and dry locations only. Track is an open conductor system by design, so this is not a fitting for a bathroom, a covered outdoor area or anywhere damp. ⚠ It is also live along its length when energised: it should be positioned where it cannot be touched casually, and isolated before any head is added or moved.

40 × 40 mm section — slim enough to read as a line rather than a beam. Black or white: black reads as deliberate against a white ceiling and is the retail default; white nearly disappears. Warranty 3 years. Licensed electrician for the supply connection.

Questions
What does "three circuit" mean?

The extrusion carries three independently switched supplies, and each spotlight is set to one of them when it is clipped in. So one run of track gives three lighting scenes — in a shop, the window on circuit one, the general wash on two, the feature display on three, from three switches with no separate track runs. A single-circuit track switches everything on it together.

Will my existing track heads fit?

Only if they are three-circuit adaptors. A single-circuit head on a three-circuit track will not select a circuit. Tell us the heads you plan to use and we will confirm compatibility.

How many fittings can I put on a run?

That depends on the current rating per circuit, and it is not recorded anywhere in our data — which on a track system is the figure the whole layout works within. Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
