DOMUS SHADOW 2LT ADJ

The Domus SHADOW 2LT ADJ is an adjustable twin-head exterior wall light — IP65, 90° tilt and 270° swivel on each head, taking two GU10 lamps to 35 W each, in black, white, copper, stainless steel or titanium silver.

✅ 90° tilt and 270° swivel — what that actually lets you do

This is the reason to choose the ADJ over the fixed SHADOW, and it is a large range of movement:

• Both heads down — two overlapping pools on a path, a step or a doorway.
• Both up — a double wall wash, for a façade you want lit rather than a surface you want to see.
• One up, one down — the classic, and what the fixed model does permanently.
• ✅ 270° of swivel is the unusual part. It means a head can be aimed along the wall rather than only out from it — so a single fitting on a corner can light two elevations, and a fitting beside a door can wash the door rather than the garden.
• ⚠ Aim it at night, from where people actually stand.

The GU10 lamps decide everything, and they are not supplied

• Beam angle is your choice. Narrow (25–36°) gives two tight dramatic cones with sharp edges — architectural. Wide (60°+) gives soft overlapping pools that light a surface evenly — practical.
• ✅ Because the heads move independently, different lamps in each head can make sense — a narrow beam washing up a wall and a wide one lighting the path below.
• Warm 2700–3000 K on brick, stone, timber and warm render; 4000 K only on grey or white modern surfaces.
• ⚠ Outdoor-rated GU10s, and check dimmability if you want it — the fitting has none of its own.

⚠ Fifteen variants, and three of them are not just finishes

The listing runs to five finishes × three options — TRIO, 3000 K and 5000 K. On a fitting that takes replaceable GU10 lamps, those colour options need explaining before you order. Tell us which variant you are considering and we will confirm exactly what is supplied, because a colour-designated variant of a lamp-holder fitting is unusual and we would rather check than assume.

Finishes — and two that are chosen for the site, not the look

• Black — the default; disappears at night.
• White — for light render, where black reads as dark marks.
• ✅ 316-grade stainless — for coastal and exposed sites, where a powder-coated finish eventually fails at the edges.
• ✅ Copper — unusual, and it weathers: bright at first, then darkening and patinating. Buy it knowing that.
• Titanium silver — a contemporary neutral.

Where it works

• Façades, entries, courtyards and corners — the swivel suits a corner.
• Positions where the aim needs changing later.
• Exposed and coastal sites — IP65, and stainless if salt is close.
• ⚠ GU10 lamps not supplied — the beam is your choice.
