⚠ The 1,800 mm figure is the cable, not the pendant

• ⭐ OVER A DINING TABLE: around 750 to 900 mm above the tabletop. ⭐ The test is whether a seated person can see the face opposite without the shade in the way.
• ⭐ IN A STAIRWELL OR VOID: the 1,800 mm drop is what makes those positions possible — ⭐ and it is worth using the full length, because a pendant hung short in a tall space looks like a mistake.
• ⭐ At 230 mm across, this is a small pendant. ⭐ Small pendants work in groups: two or three over an island at even spacing read as deliberate where one reads as under-scaled. ⭐ If you are lighting a long bench, ask us about spacing before you order the quantity.

⭐ E27 and 25 W max — the lamp is your decision

⭐ The fitting takes an E27 lamp, not included, with a 25 W LED maximum. ⭐⭐ ON A GLASS PENDANT THE LAMP CHOICE MATTERS MORE THAN ON A SOLID ONE, BECAUSE YOU WILL SEE IT. ⭐ A bare bright LED inside clear glass is uncomfortable to look at from a seated position; a filament-style or opal lamp reads as part of the fitting. ⭐ If the pendant hangs at eye level over a bench or table, that choice is the difference between a fitting people like and one they squint at. ⭐ Tell us the position and we will suggest a lamp.

⭐ Three finishes, one shape

⭐ Black, chrome and antique brass. ⭐ Black recedes and suits a busy kitchen where the pendant should not compete; chrome is the reflective, cooler option that pairs with stainless appliances; antique brass is warm and reads as the most decorative of the three. ⭐ All three carry the same Ø230 mm glass, so the choice is purely about the metalwork and how it sits with the rest of the room's hardware. ⭐ Matching the pendant to tapware and handles usually reads better than matching it to the appliances.
