A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus Reducer Plate is a passive mounting accessory for the EXIT-REC recessed exit sign — available in White or Black.
⭐ A reducer plate closes the gap between a ceiling opening and a smaller fitting. ⭐ On a refit that is the common case: the existing hole was cut for an older, larger exit sign, and the replacement is smaller. ⭐ Without a plate the options are patching and repainting the ceiling, or leaving a visible gap. ⭐ With one, the new sign goes into the old hole and the ceiling is untouched. ⭐ It is a small part that removes a trade from the job.
⭐ Reducer plates are the sort of part discovered on the day, when the old sign comes out and the hole is bigger than expected. ⭐ They are inexpensive and specific — ⭐ so on a refit of any size, ordering a few alongside the signs costs little and saves a return visit. ⭐ If you tell us how many EXIT-REC units are going into existing openings, we will suggest a sensible number.

Passive reducer plate to suit EXIT-REC recessed exit signs. White or Black. No wiring, no supply, no compliance role of its own. ⛔⛔ ITS RECORD PUBLISHES A VOLTAGE, A BULB TYPE AND A DC SUPPLY. IT IS A PIECE OF SHEET METAL. We checked whether that is an isolated slip: restricting the test to unambiguously passive hardware — brackets, plates and arms, with anything naming a lamp or a wattage excluded — 15 OF 15 PUBLISH AT LEAST ONE ELECTRICAL FIELD. It is a template default applied regardless of what the product is. ⚠ Harmless on a spec sheet; not harmless in a filter, where a buyer looking for 24 V components would be shown brackets. ⭐ We have not repeated those fields here.

It should not. This product's record carries voltage 24V, bulb_type Built-in LED and ac_dc DC, and a reducer plate has none of those — it has a colour, a shape and two dimensions. We have not repeated those fields on this page.
No. We restricted a test to unambiguously passive hardware — brackets, plates and arms, with anything naming a lamp or a wattage excluded — and 15 of 15 publish at least one electrical field. Wall brackets, post brackets and this plate all carry a voltage. It is a template default applied to every product regardless of what it is.
On a spec sheet a person reads, not much. In a filter or a comparison table it does: a mounting plate appearing under "24V" is actively misleading, and a buyer filtering for 24V components would be shown brackets.
The EXIT-REC range specifically. Check that is the sign you are fitting before ordering — reducer plates are shaped for a particular fitting and are not interchangeable between ranges.
The hole you are covering. The plate's own dimensions are not published on this listing, and since covering a specific existing opening is the entire purpose, that is the one figure worth having. Tell us the hole size and we will confirm it works.
Match the sign, not the ceiling. A plate that matches the ceiling but not the fitting draws the eye to the fitting, which on an exit sign is the opposite of what a discreet installation wants.
