The Domus PLEX-COB-5-IP67-20M is a 24 V COB LED strip — 5 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 20 m roll, at 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre.

⭐⭐ On IP67 the two-end feed buys something better than drivers — it buys seal integrity

• ⭐ The sheet gives two run limits: 5 m from one end, 10 m from two. ⭐ On IP54 that halves the driver count. ⭐ On IP67 it does more, because every intermediate cut breaks the silicon coating that provides the rating.

• ⭐ THE TWO-END 20 m ROLL IS THE BEST OF THE THREE — ⭐ five seal breaks against seven or eight. ⚠ Which reverses the advice we have given on other IP67 lengths, where the 5 m packs won. ⭐ The packs win on cuts; the two-end roll wins on total breaches, because it needs far fewer terminations.
• ⭐ The general rule that survives: minimise TOTAL openings, not just cuts. ⭐ A termination opens the coating exactly as a cut does.
• ⭐ And none of the range's connectors is rated above IP20, ⭐ so every one of those five should sit somewhere dry. ⭐ With five rather than eight, that is a much easier layout to solve.

⛔⛔ It must be on an aluminium heat sink — and IP67 needs it most

⭐ The datasheet requires it in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On the waterproof version the requirement is sharper: the silicon coating that gives the strip its rating is also a thermal blanket, ⭐ so heat has even fewer ways out than on the IP54 version. ⭐ The aluminium is the only one left. ⛔ Twenty metres of strip means twenty metres of profile, and neither page says so.

⭐ And the rating costs 15% of the light

⭐ This strip gives 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre where its IP54 twin gives 450 / 500 / 500 — ⭐ a loss of about 15%, and the same 15% appears at every wattage in the range. ⭐ That consistency is what makes it real: it is the silicon absorbing light, not a measurement difference. ⭐ Worth knowing before over-specifying — IP54 already covers indoor wet areas, so a bathroom does not need this.
