A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-5-IP67-20M is a 24 V COB LED strip — 5 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 20 m roll, at 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre.
| 20 m of IP67 | Runs | ⭐ Cuts | Terminations | ⭐ Seal breaks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One-end feed | 4 | 3 | 4 | 7 |
| ⭐ Two-end feed | ⭐ 2 | ⭐ 1 | 4 | ⭐ 5 |
| ⭐ Four 5 m packs, two-end | 4 | ⭐ 0 | 8 | ⭐ 8 |
⭐ The datasheet requires it in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On the waterproof version the requirement is sharper: the silicon coating that gives the strip its rating is also a thermal blanket, ⭐ so heat has even fewer ways out than on the IP54 version. ⭐ The aluminium is the only one left. ⛔ Twenty metres of strip means twenty metres of profile, and neither page says so.
⭐ This strip gives 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre where its IP54 twin gives 450 / 500 / 500 — ⭐ a loss of about 15%, and the same 15% appears at every wattage in the range. ⭐ That consistency is what makes it real: it is the silicon absorbing light, not a measurement difference. ⭐ Worth knowing before over-specifying — IP54 already covers indoor wet areas, so a bathroom does not need this.
| Specification | Value |

| ⛔ Aluminium heat sink | ⛔ MANDATORY — ⭐ needed MORE on IP67 |
| ⭐ Output | ⭐ 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre — ⭐ 15% below IP54 |
| Load | 5 W per metre — ⭐ 100 W total |
| ⭐ Continuous run | 5 m one-end · ⭐ 10 m two-end |
| ⭐ Seal breaks, two-end | ⭐ 5 — ⭐ against 7 one-end, 8 with packs |
| ⭐ Cutting increment | ⭐ 25 mm |
| LED density / CRI | 640 per metre, dotless · CRI ≥90 |
| Beam / dimmable | 180° · ⭐ yes |
| ⛔ Connectors | ⛔ None rated above IP20 — ⭐ keep all five dry |
| ⛔ Driver | ⛔ 24 V DC constant voltage — required |
COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 20 m roll. 5 W per metre at 24 V DC, 100 W total. 380 lm at 3000 K, 425 lm at 4000 and 5000 K. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 5 m one-end, 10 m two-end. Dimmable. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ ON IP67 THE TWO-END FEED BUYS SEAL INTEGRITY, NOT JUST DRIVERS — it takes twenty metres from seven openings in the silicon coating to five, which beats even the four 5 m packs we usually recommend (eight). ⭐ THE RULE THAT SURVIVES: minimise TOTAL openings, because a termination breaches the coating exactly as a cut does. ⛔ AND THE HEAT SINK MATTERS MOST HERE — the coating is also a thermal blanket, so aluminium is the only path heat has out.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
More than drivers — it gives seal integrity. The sheet allows 10 metres on a two-end feed against 5 on one end, so twenty metres becomes two runs instead of four. That means one intermediate cut instead of three, and every cut breaks the silicon coating that provides the rating.
Here, yes — which reverses what we advise on other IP67 lengths. Count total openings: the two-end roll has one cut and four terminations, five in all; four 5m packs have no cuts but eight terminations. The packs win on cuts, the two-end roll wins on total breaches.
Minimise total openings, not just cuts. A termination opens the coating exactly as a cut does, and none of the range's connectors is rated above IP20 — so every opening should sit somewhere dry. With five rather than eight, that is a much easier layout to solve.
Yes, and IP67 needs it most. The datasheet requires a heat sink in capitals and voids the warranty without one — and on the waterproof version the silicon coating that gives the rating is also a thermal blanket, so heat has even fewer ways out than on the IP54 version. The aluminium is the only path left. Twenty metres of strip means twenty metres of profile, and neither page says so.
About 15%. This strip gives 380/425/425 lumens per metre where its IP54 twin gives 450/500/500, and the same 15% appears at every wattage in the range. That consistency is what makes it real — it is the silicon absorbing light, not a measurement difference.
No. IP54 already covers "indoor including wet areas", which is what a bathroom is, and it gives you 15% more light with cuts that do not compromise anything. Save IP67 for hosing, standing water or genuinely outdoor positions.
100 watts across twenty metres, which is modest — a single 120W driver would cover it if the run allowed, and two 60W drivers cover it as two 10 metre two-end runs. That is one of the quiet advantages of the 5W strip: the electrical side stays simple.
