A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-20-IP67-20M is a 24 V COB LED strip — 20 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, 180° beam, IP67, dimmable, 20 m roll, in 3000 or 4000 K.

⭐ Worth asking on every PLEX-COB order, and especially this one. ⭐ All four wattages carry the same 640 LEDs per metre and look identical — ⭐ so the only difference is output, load and reach. ⚠ Twenty metres of 20 W strip is 400 W; the same twenty metres at 10 W is 200 W, reaches further, and needs fewer drivers. ⭐ Unless the position genuinely needs the highest output in the range, the lower wattage is cheaper to buy, cheaper to install and cheaper to run. ⭐ Tell us what the run is lighting.

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 20 m roll. 20 W per metre at 24 V DC, 400 W total. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. 3000 or 4000 K. 180° beam. Dimmable. Driver required. 3-year warranty. ⭐ THIS IS THE BETTER-DOCUMENTED HALF OF A COMPLEMENTARY PAIR — it sells 3000 and 4000 K where its twin sells 5000 K, and it publishes a warranty, a beam angle, a dimmable confirmation, an output voltage and a CORRECT power figure, none of which the twin does. ⭐ SO IF YOUR COLOUR IS 3000 OR 4000 K, THIS IS THE PAGE TO BUY FROM. ⭐⭐ And a 20 m IP67 run has ELEVEN breaks in the silicon seal — four 5 m packs remove three of them.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because it is better documented, and by a wide margin. It publishes a 3-year warranty, a 180 degree beam angle, a dimmable confirmation, an output voltage and a correct power figure — the twin publishes none of those, and its power field reads 5W on a 20W model. Same strip, better record.
Then you have no choice but the twin, because this listing sells 3000 and 4000K only. The figures above still apply to it: 3 years, 180 degrees, dimmable, and 20W per metre despite what its power field says. Together the two listings cover all three colours.
Each element adds a constraint and together they compound. 400W total is a substantial connected load. It is the shortest-reaching strip in the family at 0.83A per metre, so twenty metres is four runs. Four drivers at about 120W each, all needing dry accessible homes. And three cuts plus eight terminations — eleven breaks in the silicon seal that provides the IP67.
Yes, by three. Four 5 metre IP67 packs give the same strip, the same length and the same four drivers with zero intermediate cuts, because a 5m pack is exactly one run. Nothing in the catalogue connects the pack size to the run limit. The eight terminations remain either way.
They can be. None of the range's connectors is rated above IP20, and an assembly is rated at its weakest point — so all eight want to be somewhere dry. Put the feeds inside cabinets, above ceilings or behind sealed panels, and let only the sealed middle sit in the wet zone.
Worth asking on every PLEX-COB order and especially this one. All four wattages carry the same 640 LEDs per metre and look identical, so the only difference is output, load and reach. Twenty metres at 20W is 400W; the same twenty at 10W is 200W, reaches further and needs fewer drivers. Unless the position genuinely needs the highest output in the range, the lower wattage is cheaper to buy, install and run.
It is a full hemisphere, which is what a bare strip on a flat board produces. Inside a deep profile much of it hits the channel walls, so a shallow profile wastes less. At 640 LEDs per metre you do not need depth to hide dots either, so both considerations point at a shallow profile.
