A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEO-VIVID Micro is a 24 V fixed-colour LED neon flex — 9.6 W per metre, 140 SMD LEDs per metre, 110° beam, IP67, 1 m, in red, blue, green or yellow.
| Standard — 165° | ⭐ Micro — 110° | |
|---|---|---|
| Seen from | ⭐ Almost any angle | ⚠ A narrower arc |
| Light onto a surface | ⚠ Spreads and weakens | ⭐ More concentrated |
| Best for | ⭐ Outlines and signage seen from the street | ⭐ A defined line in a reveal or channel |
| In a recess | ⚠ Much of the light hits the recess walls | ⭐ Escapes cleanly |
| Section | Larger | ⭐ Smaller |
⭐ We checked the whole range. ⭐ Micro offers red, blue, green and yellow in 1 m AND on a 20 m roll. ⛔ The standard 20 m roll has no yellow; the Side 1 m offers only red and green. ⭐ So if the colour matters more than the section, Micro is the version most likely to have it in the format you need.
⭐ 140 LEDs per metre is one every 7.14 mm. ⭐ 50 mm ÷ 7.14 = 7 — ⭐ so a cut segment is a block of seven LEDs in series, and 50 mm is where the block ends. ⭐ Your run rounds to the nearest 50 mm, ⚠ which on formed lettering is a real constraint.
| Specification | Value |

| Load | 9.6 W per metre at 24 V DC |

| ⭐ Colours | ⭐ Red, blue, green, yellow — ⭐ all four |
| ⭐ LED density / cut | ⭐ 140 SMD LEDs per metre · ⭐ 50 mm increments |
| IP rating | ⭐ IP67 — ⚠ in the description, not a field |
| Dimmable | ✅ With a suitable driver |

Fixed-colour 24 V DC LED neon flex, Micro, 1 m. 9.6 W per metre. 140 SMD LEDs per metre, cut in 50 mm increments. 110° beam. IP67. Dimmable with a suitable driver. Red, blue, green or yellow. 3-year warranty. Order code PLEO-VIVID-M-S. ⭐ 110° HERE AGAINST THE STANDARD'S 165°, AND THAT IS THE REAL DIFFERENCE — both draw the same 9.6 W/m with the same 140 LEDs per metre, so what changes is the section and the beam. ⭐ THE USEFUL RULE: if the flex sits INSIDE anything — a reveal, a channel, a routed groove — take the narrower beam, because a 165° source in a recess throws most of its light at the recess walls. ⭐ Micro is also the only VIVID version with all four colours in both formats.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
The section and the beam. Both draw the same 9.6W per metre and carry the same 140 SMD LEDs per metre. The standard publishes a 165 degree beam — close to a full hemisphere — and this Micro publishes 110 degrees, which is noticeably tighter, so more of the output goes forward and less spills sideways.
If the flex sits inside anything — a reveal, a channel, a routed groove — take the narrower beam. A 165 degree source in a recess throws most of its light at the recess walls and you lose it; a 110 degree source escapes cleanly. If the flex is exposed and meant to be seen as a line from many directions, take the wider.
No — the two beam figures are published separately and never compared, so the choice reads as Micro-versus-standard by size rather than by optics. The beam is the more consequential difference of the two.
Colour availability. We checked the whole VIVID range: Micro is the only version offering all four colours — red, blue, green and yellow — in both 1m and 20m roll formats. The standard 20m roll has no yellow, and the Side 1m offers only red and green. So if the colour matters more than the section, Micro is the version most likely to have it in the format you need.
In 50mm increments. 140 LEDs per metre is one every 7.14mm, and 50 divided by 7.14 is exactly 7 — so a cut segment is a block of seven LEDs in series, and 50mm is where the block ends. Your run rounds to the nearest 50mm, which on formed lettering is a real constraint.
No. CRI measures how a white source renders reference colours against a reference white, and a saturated single-colour emitter has no colour temperature and renders nothing. The figure is inherited from the white PLEO range. For a branded colour, ask us for the dominant wavelength instead.
The section dimensions — which is awkward on a product whose distinguishing feature is being smaller — and the dominant wavelength. The section matters if you are pairing it to a profile or routing a groove for it. Ask us and we will get both.
