The Domus PLEO-14.4 Neon Side is a side-emitting LED neon flex — 14.4 W per metre, CRI90, dimmable, polyurethane enclosure, in 3000, 4000 or 5000 K.
⭐ It publishes 450 × 450 × 80 mm — ⚠ identical to the top-view listing, and obviously not a flexible strip. ⭐ Those are packaging dimensions: a coiled reel in a box. ⭐ The product itself is a continuous flex of roughly 10 mm section, ⛔ whose actual profile size is not published on this listing.
⭐ It publishes a voltage of 220–240 V and a current type of DC. ⚠ Those are inconsistent. ⭐ Neon flex is a 24 V DC product — eleven other listings in this family say exactly that. ⭐ 220–240 V is the MAINS INPUT to the driver that feeds it, not the flex itself. ⚠ Wiring 240 V to a 24 V flex destroys it instantly, ⭐ so this is a field worth being clear about. ⭐ Specify a 24 V DC driver.
⭐ A continuous, side-emitting neon flex in a polyurethane enclosure, supplied with mounting clips. ⭐ Because the emitter is continuous and diffused along its whole length, it reads as a solid line rather than a row of dots — ⭐ which is the whole reason to choose flex over a bare strip in a channel. ⭐ Domus names its applications: ceiling and floor coves, windows and similar architectural detail. ⭐ SIDE-emitting suits a curve laid out flat on a plane, ⚠ where a top-view flex would twist.

Side-emitting LED neon flex. 14.4 W per metre at 24 V DC. CRI90. 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K. Dimmable. 120° beam. IP66. Polyurethane enclosure, mounting clips included. 3-year warranty. ⛔ ITS PUBLISHED LUMEN FIGURES CANNOT BE RIGHT — 320 lm from 14.4 W is 22 lm/W, and no LED product achieves that; a poor one manages 60. ⭐ Restore a dropped leading digit and the set becomes 1320–1370 lm at 92–95 lm/W, tightly clustered and credible — the identical error this catalogue's PIPE-60 pendant carries. ⛔ IT ALSO PUBLISHES 220–240 V AND DC TOGETHER: it is a 24 V DC product, and 220–240 V is the mains input to its driver.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Not what the listing says. It publishes 320, 370, 346 and 330 lumens against 14.4W — which is 22 to 26 lumens per watt, and no LED product achieves that. A poor one manages 60, an ordinary one 90, and this catalogue's own linear fittings run 76 to 100. 22 lm/W is roughly halogen territory.
Most likely 1320 to 1370 lumens — restore a dropped leading digit and the set becomes 1320/1370/1346/1330, which is 92/95/93/92 lm/W: tightly clustered and entirely credible. That is offered as reasoning rather than confirmed fact. What is certain is that the published figures are wrong. Ask us and we will get the real ones before you calculate anything from them.
Yes, and that is part of why the reading is convincing. The PIPE-60 linear pendant publishes 658 lumens where its own description reads 1658 — the identical error, caught the identical way, by noticing the efficacy was impossible. Two instances of one error class is itself worth flagging.
A good one. The top-view version of this same product publishes 1123 to 1253 lumens at the same 14.4W — 78 to 87 lm/W, and credible. A genuine 3.5x gap in output between two versions of one flex would be extraordinary, which points at the numbers rather than at the product.
No — it is a 24V DC product. The listing publishes a voltage of 220–240V and a current type of DC together, which are inconsistent, and eleven other listings in this family say 24V. The 220–240V figure is the mains input to the driver that feeds it, not the flex. Wiring 240V to a 24V flex destroys it instantly, so specify a 24V DC driver.
A carton. They are identical to the top-view listing's and obviously not a flexible strip — those are packaging dimensions for a coiled reel in a box. The product itself is a continuous flex of roughly 10mm section, whose actual profile size is not published here.
Because the emitter is continuous and diffused along its whole length, so it reads as a solid line rather than a row of dots. With a bare strip in a profile you have to buy depth to blend the LEDs into a line; with flex the line arrives already made. Side-emitting suits a curve laid out flat on a plane, where a top-view flex would twist.
