The Domus PANEL-BLT-606 is a 600 × 600 mm backlit LED panel — 35 W, tri-colour switchable, IP20, with a harmonic filter for flicker-free operation, in Trio or DALI.
| Method | ⭐ What it needs | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| ⭐ T-bar grid | ⭐ Nothing — it drops in | Offices, existing suspended ceilings |
| ⭐ Plaster recessed | A plaster kit + a ceiling void | ⭐ Flush finish in plasterboard |
| ⭐ Surface, as an oyster | ⭐ A surface frame — ⭐ with room for the driver | ⭐ Concrete soffits, no void at all |
| ⭐ Suspended pendant | Suspension wires | High ceilings, exposed services |
⭐ This panel publishes a height of 32 mm; its 300 × 600 sibling publishes 10 mm. ⚠ For a BACKLIT panel — where the LEDs sit across the whole back and need room to blend before the diffuser — 10 mm is very thin, and 32 mm is normal. ⭐ Our reading is that the 10 mm on the sibling describes the trim or diffuser rather than the fitting depth. ⚠ Offered as reasoning, not fact — ⭐ but it matters, because the recess depth is what a plaster kit has to accommodate. ⭐ Confirm the depth with us before the ceiling is set out.
⭐ Domus fits a harmonic filter to reduce total harmonic distortion, and so flicker and strobing. ⭐ The stated benefit is on camera: standard drivers that are not “flicker-free” produce a rolling band effect in video recordings, which this removes. ⭐ In a room that hosts video calls or recordings — which is now most meeting rooms — that is a real specification point rather than a marketing line. ⛔ No flicker percentage or frequency is published, ⚠ so it is a claim without a number.
⭐ Trio and DALI variants are both sold; the dimmable field says “No”. ⭐ DALI is a dimming protocol. ⭐ The field almost certainly describes the Trio variant only. ⚠ Confirm which you are ordering — it decides whether the ceiling needs a control cable.

600 × 600 mm backlit LED panel troffer, 595 × 595 mm, 32 mm deep. 35 W at 220–240 V. Tri-colour 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K, DIP switch on the cable. IP20. White frame, opal diffuser. Harmonic filter, flicker-free. Trio or DALI. 3-year warranty. ⭐ FOUR MOUNTING METHODS FROM ONE FITTING — drops into a T-bar grid, recesses into plasterboard with a kit, mounts on the surface as an oyster with room for the driver, or hangs on suspension wires. ⭐ THE SURFACE FRAME IS THE ONE WORTH KNOWING: a concrete soffit has no void, and this is the detail that usually defeats surface-mounting a panel. ⛔ The frames and kits are separate and no part numbers are published — tell us the mounting and we will quote it.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Four. It drops straight into a T-bar grid with no accessory. With a plaster kit it recesses flush into plasterboard. With a surface frame it becomes an oyster on the ceiling face. And with suspension wires it hangs as a pendant. That is unusually versatile for a panel, and it is buried in a paragraph most people skip.
The surface frame. A concrete soffit or slab ceiling has no void to recess into, and the usual answer is a different fitting entirely — but here the same panel becomes a surface oyster, and Domus specifically notes the frame has room for the driver, which is the detail that usually defeats surface-mounting a panel. On a refurbishment that means one product code can serve a grid ceiling in one area and a concrete soffit in another.
No, they are separate items, and no part numbers are published on the listing. Tell us which mounting method you need and we will quote the right accessory alongside the panel so nothing arrives without its partner.
32mm published. Worth noting that its 300 x 600 sibling publishes 10mm, which for a backlit panel — where the LEDs sit across the whole back and need room to blend before the diffuser — is very thin, while 32mm is normal. Our reading is that the 10mm describes the trim or diffuser rather than the fitting depth. That is reasoning rather than fact, and it matters because the recess depth is what a plaster kit has to accommodate. Confirm with us before the ceiling is set out.
It reduces total harmonic distortion, and with it flicker and strobing. The stated benefit is on camera: drivers that are not flicker-free produce a rolling band effect in video recordings, which this removes. In a room that hosts video calls — now most meeting rooms — that is a real specification point rather than a marketing line. No flicker percentage or frequency is published, so it is a claim without a number attached.
Depending on the variant. Trio and DALI variants are both sold while the dimmable field says "No", and DALI is a dimming protocol — so the field almost certainly describes the Trio variant only. Confirm which you are ordering, because it decides whether the ceiling needs a control cable run to each fitting.
No lumen figure is published for this size. Its 300 x 600 sibling publishes 2200 to 2350 lumens from 25W, which is 88 to 94 lumens per watt — applying the same efficacy to 35W suggests roughly 3100 to 3300 lumens here. That is an inference from the family rather than a published figure; ask us and we will get the real number.

| ⭐ MOUNT 1 — T-bar grid | ⭐ Nothing needed, it drops in |
| ⭐ MOUNT 2 — plaster recessed | A plaster kit + a ceiling void — ⭐ flush finish |
| ⭐ MOUNT 3 — surface oyster | ⭐ A surface frame WITH ROOM FOR THE DRIVER |
| ⭐ Why that one matters | ⭐ A concrete soffit has NO void — ⚠ the driver is what usually defeats surface-mounting |

| ⚠ Depth 32mm | ⭐ Its 300×600 sibling says 10mm — ⚠ too thin for a backlit panel |
| ⭐ Our reading | The 10mm is the TRIM or diffuser, not the fitting depth — ⭐ confirm before setting out |
| ⭐ HARMONIC FILTER | ⭐ Removes the rolling-band effect on camera — ⚠ no percentage published |
| ⛔ dimmable=No AND a DALI variant | ⭐ The field likely describes the Trio only |
