The Domus MURO-ECO-10 is a 10 W exterior LED spotlight — IP65, tri-colour switchable, 100° beam, polycarbonate and glass, in black or white.
| Setting | Output | Efficacy |
|---|---|---|
| 3000 K warm white | 1000 lm | 100 lm/W |
| ⭐ 4000 K neutral white | ⭐ 1050 lm | ⭐ 105 lm/W |
| 5000 K white | 1000 lm | 100 lm/W |
⭐ Domus publishes a 30,000-hour life, which few fittings in this catalogue do. ⭐ On dusk-to-dawn running — roughly 4,380 hours a year — that is about SEVEN YEARS. ⭐ On a sensor, running only when triggered, far longer. ⚠ The warranty is 3 years, so the rated life is comfortably beyond the cover.
⭐ Stated plainly. ⚠ For a security or wall-wash spotlight that is rarely a problem, ⭐ but it means the level is set by choosing the fitting and its position, not afterwards.

10 W exterior LED spotlight. 240 V AC. 1000 / 1050 / 1000 lm at 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K, DIP switch at the back. 100° beam. IP65. 30,000-hour life. Non-dimmable. Polycarbonate and glass. Backplate with male/female plug. Black or white. 3-year replacement warranty. ⭐ ITS BRIGHTEST SETTING IS THE MIDDLE ONE — 1000/1050/1000 lm, where nearly every other tri-colour product in this catalogue rises steadily with colour temperature. ⭐ The spread is 5%, which nobody sees, so here the setting is purely a colour decision. ⭐ POLYCARBONATE IS THE POINT ON THE COAST: no metal to corrode, where an aluminium fitting near salt air blisters and then pits. ⚠ The trade-off is UV chalking, and no UV figure is published.

The middle one, which is unusual. 3000K gives 1000 lumens, 4000K gives 1050, and 5000K returns to 1000 — so it peaks in the middle rather than rising steadily with colour temperature the way nearly every other tri-colour product in this catalogue does. The spread is only 5%, which nobody sees, so on this fitting the setting is purely a colour decision.
3000K for a garden or a wall wash — warm light flatters planting and brick, where cool light on a garden reads as a security floodlight. Take 4000K where the job really is security and you want the space to feel alert rather than welcoming. Note this range switches to 5000K where the Domus vanity range goes to 5700K; "tri-colour" is not one fixed set of temperatures across the brand.
Corrosion. A polycarbonate body has no metal to corrode, where a die-cast aluminium fitting near salt air eventually blisters its powder coat and then pits underneath. That is a genuine advantage within a few hundred metres of surf, and it is why a plastic-bodied fitting can outlast a metal one in exactly the place people expect the opposite.
UV. Polycarbonate in full sun can chalk and yellow over years, and that matters more on a white body than a black one because yellowing shows against white. No UV-stability figure is published, so if the fitting will sit in permanent full sun, black is the safer choice.
IP65 — dust-tight and rated against water jets from any direction. So it can go on an exposed wall and it can be hosed down, which is a real step above the IP43 of the Domus post lights, where a sprinkler or a hose is a genuine risk.
Domus publishes a 30,000-hour rated life, which few fittings in this catalogue do. On dusk-to-dawn running — roughly 4,380 hours a year — that is about seven years. On a sensor, running only when triggered, considerably longer. The warranty is 3 years replacement, so the rated life sits comfortably beyond the cover.
Closer to a flood. The 100 degree beam is a wide wash rather than a narrow spot, so it lights an area rather than picking out an object. That suits wall washing, driveways and general garden lighting; if you want to light a single tree or a feature, a narrower beam would do it better.
