The Domus LUMALINE-2 is a 900 mm linear up-and-down wall light — 34.5 W giving 1,328 lumens each way, in aluminium, black or white, with an opal PMMA diffuser. Indoor use — it is rated IP20.
⚠ This is an INDOOR fitting, despite its category. Our catalogue files it under Outdoor Up/Down Wall Lights. The datasheet says IP20 — no water protection at all — and the manufacturer's own description says it is “for any interior space, residential or commercial”.
Do not put it outside, in a bathroom, or under an eave. For an exterior up/down wall light, ask us about the SHADOW range at IP65.
Most up/down wall lights are compact fittings throwing two cones. This throws two continuous bands the full 900 mm:
Our record flags this product as colour-changing. It is not. The nine variants are three finishes × three FIXED colour temperatures — the one you order is the one you keep.
⚠ Order the whole job in one colour and one batch. Two LUMALINEs of slightly different colour on one corridor wall are obvious.
On a 2,650-lumen indirect fitting destined for corridors and hospitality, that is a real limitation and the first thing to check against your brief. If you need dimming, ask us — there are dimmable linear options in this range.
Aluminium profile with an opal PMMA diffuser, in aluminium, black or white. CRI ≥80, 50,000 hours, 220–240 V, hard-wired, licensed electrician. Warranty 3 years.
900 mm linear up/down wall light, aluminium profile with an opal PMMA diffuser, in aluminium, black or white. 34.5 W giving 1,189 / 1,328 / 1,347 lm EACH WAY at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K — ⚠ colour temperature is FIXED, chosen at purchase. CRI ≥80, 110° beam, 50,000 hrs, NOT dimmable. 220–240 V AC, ⛔ IP20 — INDOOR AND DRY ONLY, despite the product category. No visible mounting screws. Warranty 3 years.

No — and our catalogue category is wrong on this point. It is filed under Outdoor Up/Down Wall Lights, and the datasheet says IP20, which is no water protection at all. The manufacturer’s own description says it is for any interior space, residential or commercial. Do not put it outside, in a bathroom, or under an eave. For an exterior up/down wall light, ask us about the SHADOW range at IP65.
It throws two continuous bands rather than two cones. A point-source fitting paints arcs on the wall with dark gaps between fittings; a 900 mm line gives an even band top and bottom, which is what makes it read as architecture rather than as a light fitting. The LED strip is concealed behind an opal diffuser, so there is no glare at any angle — which is what allows it at eye level in a corridor or beside a bed.
Yes — 1,328 lumens each way at 4000 K, so around 2,650 lumens in total. That is enough to light a corridor or stairwell on its own, which most decorative wall lights are not. But it is indirect: the wall does the work, so a dark wall absorbs it and a light one multiplies it. On charcoal paint you will get far less than on white.
No. Our record flags it as colour-changing and it is not — the nine variants are three finishes by three fixed colour temperatures, and the one you order is the one you keep. Order the whole job in one colour and ideally one batch; two LUMALINEs of slightly different colour on one corridor wall are obvious.
No, and on a 2,650-lumen indirect fitting destined for corridors and hospitality that is a real limitation — it is the first thing to check against your brief. If you need dimming, ask us; there are dimmable linear options in this range.
Yes. A vertical 900 mm line beside a door or a bedhead reads quite differently from a horizontal band along a corridor. Note our record lists its height as 900 mm, which is really its length — the orientation is yours to choose.
Enough above and below for the bands to develop. A cornice, a skirting or a picture rail will cut one band off and waste half the fitting.
