Domus JADE-220-240MM 1 Light Pendant

The Domus JADE is a metal pendant — one E27 lamp, 1,200 mm drop, IP20, in Black or White, in two shade sizes.

⛔ It takes a 60 W lamp, not the 25 W its record says

• ⛔ The product record says 25 W. ✅ The datasheet says “Max 60 W”, and “Requires 1 × E27 Globe. Not included.”
• ⭐ On a fitting supplied without a lamp, a wattage figure can only sensibly be the maximum — ⚠ and 25 W understates it by 35 W.
• ⭐ We measured rather than assumed. Three Domus lamp-holder fittings record exactly 25 W against sheet maxima of 40–60 W — ⭐ the same figure three times, which reads as a filler value rather than a measurement.
• ✅ So you have real headroom. ⭐ A 60 W maximum on an E27 holder means any LED globe you are likely to want will fit comfortably — a 12 W LED is roughly a 75 W incandescent, so you are nowhere near the limit.
• ⭐ What we would fit: an 8–12 W E27 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K. ⚠ Over a bench or a table, dimmable is worth having — and on an E27 that is a lamp choice, not a fitting one.

⛔ The two shade sizes do not agree between fields

• ⛔ The small shade agrees at 220 mm; the large one is recorded as 240 mm in one place and 260 mm in another.
• ⚠ 20 mm is small in the abstract and not small over a breakfast bench, where two or three pendants are spaced to a rhythm. ⭐ Ask us before setting out centres.
• ⚠ The diameter field also carries an embedded line break, holding both values in one field — ⭐ which is how the two sizes came to sit in one listing rather than two.
• ⭐ The datasheets are named JADE-220 and JADE-240, so the model is JADE-240. ⚠ Whether its shade is 240 or 260 mm is what needs confirming.

⭐ A 1,200 mm drop is generous, and adjustable in practice

• 1,200 mm of suspension supplied.
• ⭐ That is long — ⭐ deliberately, because a pendant is nearly always shortened on site. Over a bench you want the shade around 750–900 mm above the surface; in a stairwell or void you may want most of the 1,200 mm.
• ⭐ Supplied with a matching canopy and suspension, so the ceiling end is finished without extra parts.
• ⚠ Shortening a suspension is an electrician's job and is far easier before the fitting is up. ⭐ Decide the height first.
