xThe Domus internal sensor is a microwave occupancy sensor built into a batten — available as ON/OFF or dimming. It is a component, not a light.
⛔ You will need a remote to change any setting — and it is not on this listing
- ⛔ The datasheet is explicit: “To change sensor default settings, a remote is required, sold separately.”
- ⚠ So out of the box you get the factory defaults — and if the hold time or the light level does not suit the space, you cannot alter it without a remote you have not bought.
- ✅ The good news, and it is genuinely good: ⭐ “One remote control will operate unlimited sensors.” You need exactly one, however many sensors you install.

- ⭐ The light-level setting is the one people forget. At 2 lux the sensor only triggers in near darkness; at 50 lux it triggers in a dim but usable space; disable means it triggers on movement regardless of daylight. ⭐ In a carpark with daylight at one end, that setting decides whether you light an already-bright bay all day.
- ⚠ Detection range is 2–6 m and mounting height 2.5–6 m — ⭐ so it is a fitting-height sensor, not a high-bay one. Above 6 m it is the wrong part.
- ⭐ Microwave rather than infrared — ⭐ it detects through the luminaire's own diffuser, which is why it can be mounted inside the batten, and it is less affected by temperature than a PIR. ⚠ It can also detect through thin partitions, which occasionally matters.

⛔ Two record fields that mislead
- ⛔ Power: 400 W. ⚠ That is the RATED LOAD — the maximum LED wattage the sensor can switch — ⭐ not what the sensor consumes. A sensor draws a fraction of a watt. ⭐ Read it as a capacity: 400 W of LED battens on one sensor.
- ⛔ Lamp type: Built-in LED, on a component that contains no lamp at all.
- ⭐ Neither is a fault in the product — both are fields filled in for a luminaire on a listing that is not one.
⭐ ON/OFF or dimming — the choice that matters
- ON/OFF switches the batten on and off. Dim holds it at a low level and lifts it to full on detection.
- ⭐ Dimming is almost always better in a circulation space — a stairwell, corridor or carpark. You never walk into darkness, the space reads as occupied and safe, and the LEDs are not cycled.
- ⭐ ON/OFF suits a store room, a plant room or a cupboard, where nobody is walking towards an unlit space and full-off saves the most.
- ⚠ The dim version needs the remote to set the standby level — ⭐ another reason to order one.

Does it use 400W?
No — that is the rated LOAD, the maximum LED wattage the sensor can switch, not what it consumes. A sensor draws a fraction of a watt. Read it as a capacity figure: 400W of LED battens on one sensor, which at 30W a batten is a dozen or so fittings. The listing also records a lamp type of "Built-in LED" on a component that contains no lamp at all — both are fields filled in for a luminaire on a listing that is not one.
Should I choose ON/OFF or dimming?
Dimming, almost always, in a circulation space — a stairwell, corridor or carpark. It holds the batten at a low level and lifts it to full on detection, so you never walk into darkness, the space reads as occupied and safe, and the LEDs are not cycled on and off. ON/OFF suits a store room, plant room or cupboard where nobody is walking towards an unlit space and full-off saves the most. Note the dim version needs the remote to set its standby level.
How high can it be mounted?

Because their item tables list SKUs 60693 and 66090, and this listing is 66093 and 66094. All four attached sheets are contradicted on that basis. They clearly describe the right product family — SENSOR-INT-01, an internal microwave sensor for battens — but not these part numbers, so every figure on this page is labelled as coming from the family sheets rather than from a sheet that names this SKU. What does the lux setting do?
It decides whether the sensor bothers switching on when there is already daylight. At 2 lux it only triggers in near darkness; at 50 lux it triggers in a dim but usable space; disabled means it triggers on movement regardless of daylight. It is the setting people forget, and in a carpark with daylight at one end it decides whether you light an already-bright bay all day. Changing it needs the remote.
Is microwave better than infrared?
Different rather than better, and here it is the necessary choice. A microwave sensor detects through the luminaire's own diffuser, which is why it can be mounted inside the batten at all, and it is less affected by temperature than a PIR — useful in a cool room or an unheated carpark. The trade-off is that it can also detect through thin partitions, so in a small room next to a corridor it may trigger on passers-by. Tell us the space if that could be an issue.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
