The Domus HYDRO is a weatherproof LED batten in 600 mm or 1200 mm — IP65, IK10, with switchable wattage and switchable colour, available plain, with an on/off sensor, or with a dimming sensor.
✅ IP65 and IK10 together — and that combination is the point.
✅ Together they make this a fitting that survives the environment it is put in, which is not true of an ordinary batten in the same position.
The product name and our record say 20 W / 40 W. The datasheet says the switchable range is 15–30 W, with these outputs:
| Setting | 3000 K | 4000 K | 5000 K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 2,350 lm | 2,400 lm | 2,400 lm |
| High | 4,050 lm | 4,250 lm | 4,150 lm |
We have published the outputs, which both sources support, and flagged the wattage, which they do not. ⚠ If you are calculating a circuit load or an energy figure, ask us to confirm the wattage first. The light output is what most people actually need, and 4,250 lm on the high setting is a lot of batten — comparable to a twin fluorescent.
⚠ The datasheet records the fitting as not dimmable, which conflicts with the existence of the dim-sensor variants. The dimming in those is done by the sensor, not by an external dimmer — do not plan to put any version on a wall dimmer. Ask us if you need dimmer control.
3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K, set before installation.
1,263 mm or 653 mm long, 129 mm wide. CRI ≥80, 120° beam, 50,000 hours — longer than the BOLT's 40,000, which is worth knowing on a fitting likely to be somewhere awkward to reach. Surface mounted or suspended; suspending brings the light closer to the work in a high carport or workshop. 240 V. Warranty 3 years.
600 mm (653 mm overall) or 1200 mm (1,263 mm overall), 129 mm wide. Switchable wattage giving 2,350–2,400 lm low and 4,050–4,250 lm high; ⚠ the wattage itself is recorded as 20/40 W and as 15–30 W by different sources — ask us before an energy calculation. 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K switchable, set before installation. CRI ≥80, 120° beam, 50,000 hrs. IP65 — dust tight, water jets. ✅ IK10 — 20 joule impact. Surface mounted or suspended. Available plain, with an on/off sensor, or with a dimming sensor. ⚠ Not for an external dimmer. 240 V. Warranty 3 years.

Our sources disagree — the product name and record say 20 W/40 W, the datasheet says the switchable range is 15 to 30 W. We have published the light output, which both support, and flagged the wattage, which they do not. If you are calculating a circuit load or an energy figure, ask us to confirm first.
2,350 to 2,400 lumens on the low setting and 4,050 to 4,250 on the high, depending on colour — comparable to a twin fluorescent at the top end. That is a lot of batten.
It is the top of the impact scale — a 20 joule impact, or a 5 kg mass dropped from 400 mm. It matters because the places that need a weatherproof batten are also the places where things get hit: loading docks, workshops, car parks. On an IP65 fitting a cracked diffuser lets the water straight in, so the two ratings work together.
The on/off sensor comes on when something moves and off after a delay — right for a walkway, stairwell or car park. The dim sensor is the interesting one: it sits at a low standby level and lifts to full on movement, so the space is never pitch dark, nothing switches abruptly in your face, and you still save most of the energy of running at full all night.
No. The datasheet records the fitting as not dimmable, and in the dim-sensor versions the dimming is done by the sensor rather than by an external dimmer. Do not plan to put any version on a wall dimmer — ask us if you need dimmer control.
IP65 is dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so it suits carports, covered walkways, undercroft parking, washdown areas, plant rooms and cool rooms — positions where an ordinary batten would not last.
Either. Suspending brings the light closer to the work in a high carport or workshop, which is more effective than fitting a brighter one at the ceiling.
