The Domus HYDRO-120 is a 1,200 mm LED batten — 40 W, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, supplied complete with flex and plug.
1,200 mm LED batten. 40 W. Switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K. Polycarbonate and stainless steel. Complete with flex and plug. ⛔ The title names 4000 K on a tri-colour switchable fitting — it does all three. ⚠ "TEMP" in the title is not a specification and means nothing to a buyer. ⛔ Its record says T8: it has sealed SMD LEDs and takes no tube. ⛔ No IP rating, lumen output, CRI, lifespan or warranty is recorded, and there is no datasheet — ask us before using it anywhere damp.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
No — it does 3000K, 4000K and 5000K on a dip switch, and its own record sets colour-changing technology to true. The title naming a single colour temperature understates it in a way that costs a sale: a buyer who needs 5000K passes over a fitting that does 5000K. Choose the setting at installation, set it deliberately, and note what you chose, because nothing on the outside shows it afterwards.
Nothing to a buyer — it is not a model, a variant or a feature. It reads as an internal marker that escaped into a customer-facing name: a temporary record, a placeholder, or an abbreviation nobody expanded. We are not going to guess what it meant, and we have flagged it. What matters is that it is not a property of the fitting, so ignore it when comparing this against other battens.
Complete with flex and plug — and unlike "TEMP" it does mean something useful. A hard-wired batten needs an electrician; a flex-and-plug batten needs a power point, and can be moved, taken with you or re-sited without a callout. That suits a workshop, garage, shed, market stall or rented space where a permanent alteration is not wanted. Just check the flex reaches a point without trailing a lead across a floor — ask us for the flex length if the point is far.
No, despite what the record says. It lists bulb type as T8, a fluorescent tube format, but this is an integrated LED batten with sealed SMD LEDs and no tube. The sibling HYDRO-120 with a verified datasheet records SMD LEDs and no lamp type at all, and of 30 Domus batten listings 15 record nothing while 3 record "Built-in LED" — so T8 is the anomaly. Practically: no relamping and no tube to stock; when the LEDs fail the fitting is replaced.
Ask us first. The HYDRO name belongs to a weatherproof range and its siblings record IP65, but this listing records no IP rating at all — and it does record "Indoor". We are not going to assume an IP rating onto a product from its range name, because that is exactly the kind of guess that gets a fitting installed somewhere it should not be. Tell us where it is going and we will confirm with Domus.
It is higher than the 15/30W switchable siblings, and this one is not recorded as switchable in wattage — so it runs at 40W. Worth noting that on the sibling's verified figures the lower settings are the more efficient: 15W returns about 160 lumens per watt against 142 at 30W. No lumen output is recorded for this fitting at all, so we cannot tell you what 40W buys here. Ask us and we will get the figure.
Not recorded, and neither is the IP rating, lumen output, beam angle, CRI or lifespan — there is no datasheet on this listing. The standard HYDRO-120 records a five-year warranty and publishes all of those figures, so the information exists for the platform. Tell us when you order and we will confirm in writing which of it applies to this version.
