Domus GT-694 Vienna Curved Upward Wall Light

The Domus GT-694 Vienna Large is a curved-arm upward wall light — 600 mm high, 300 mm wide, 300 mm projection, IP23, taking one B22 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

⭐ A curved arm that holds the lantern UP, not down

• ⭐ Worth being clear about, because a curved arm usually means the opposite. On the Monaco wall lights the curve sweeps the lantern down below the bracket; here it carries it up and out.
• ⭐ So this is an upward fitting with a graceful arm rather than a downward one — the light still goes up the wall and onto the soffit.
• ⭐ The curve is what you are buying. On a period elevation a curved arm reads as traditional where a straight one reads as plain, and it is the difference between this and the GT-691.
• ⚠ If you want the ground lit, neither is the fitting — the downward GT-672 is.

⚠ It occupies almost the same space as the straight-arm version

• ⭐ Within 10 mm on every dimension. So the arm style changes the look far more than the envelope — you can choose on appearance without re-checking clearances.
• ⭐ Which is the opposite of the Monaco pair, where the curved arm added 130 mm of projection over the straight one (420 mm against 290 mm). ⚠ So a curved arm is not always the deeper fitting — it depends on what the curve is doing.
• ✅ 300 mm projection is the figure to plan around beside a doorway or in a passage.

⛔ B22 bayonet, and IP23 on an upward fitting

• ⛔ One B22 lamp — ⭐ as 22 of the 25 Vienna listings are. ⚠ The standard GT-671 upward wall light records E27, so do not assume globes transfer between Vienna fittings.
• ✅ 8–10 W B22 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated. ⛔ No maximum wattage recorded.
• ⛔ IP23: ⭐ the same water resistance as IP43, ⚠ sealed only against objects over 12.5 mm, so debris can enter.
• ⚠ And it faces upward — ⭐ the orientation that collects it. Expect to clean it, and avoid heavy leaf drop.

⭐ What an upward wall light does

• ⭐ Throws light up the wall, so a facade reads as lit rather than spotlit.
• ⭐ Bounces off a soffit or eave for soft indirect light with no bright source in the eye line.
• ⚠ It will not light the ground.
• ⭐ Pair it with a downward fitting over the door — ⚠ checking the lamp bases first.

• Period and traditional elevations, where a curved arm suits.
• Broad facades, at Large scale.
• Under a soffit or eave, for bounced light.
• ⚠ Not under trees or heavy leaf drop.
• ⚠ Not where you need the ground lit — use the GT-672.
