Domus GT-674 Vienna Single Head Post Light

The Domus GT-674 Vienna is a single-head post light — 1,310 mm tall, 164 mm wide, IP23, taking one B22 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

✅ The Vienna heights are consistent, and they describe the whole fitting

• ✅ The same 150 mm step, twice. ⭐ So a twin crossbar sits 150 mm higher than a single head, and the recorded figure is the height of the whole fitting — post plus lantern.
• ⭐ Worth knowing because the Monaco range next to it works differently. Monaco heights are constant across head counts, so that figure describes the post and you add the lantern.
• ⭐ Both are internally consistent — ⚠ but neither listing tells you which convention it is using, so comparing a Vienna height against a Monaco height compares two different things.
• ✅ For this fitting the practical answer is simple: 1,310 mm to the top, as installed.

⭐ 1,310 mm is a low post, and a slim one

• 164 mm wide — ⭐ the slimmest post footprint in these traditional ranges (the Monaco single records 650 mm).
• ⭐ Which makes it the one that fits a narrow border, a path edge or the strip between a fence and a driveway, where the wider ranges will not.
• ⚠ The lantern sits at about chest height, below eye level, so you look slightly down onto it — glare is modest and the light falls onto the path.
• ⭐ Repeated along a walkway at regular centres, a slim low post reads as a considered scheme rather than a row of objects.

⛔ IP23 — the same water resistance, less protection from debris

• ⭐ IP23 and IP43 share the same second digit, 3 — spraying water. This is not less waterproof than the Monaco or Siena ranges.
• ⛔ The first digit differs: IP43 excludes objects over 1 mm; IP23 only those over 12.5 mm, so insects and fine debris can enter.
• ⚠ On a low post that is worth thinking about — it sits down in the planting, where there is more of both. ⭐ Expect to clean it occasionally.
• ⭐ It is a range characteristic, not a fault here: 20 of the 25 Vienna listings record IP23.

⛔ It takes a B22 bayonet lamp

• ⛔ B22, not E27 — ⭐ as 22 of the 25 Vienna listings are. ⚠ The Monaco and Siena ranges are E27, so you cannot move globes between them.
• ✅ 8–10 W B22 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, rated for enclosed and damp use. ⛔ No maximum wattage is recorded in any source.
• ⚠ B22 LEDs are less widely stocked in warm, compact shapes. ⭐ Ask us to supply lamps with the fitting.
• ⛔ No footing depth, base plate size, fixing pattern or wind rating is recorded. ⭐ At 164 mm wide the sail area is small, but it still goes into concrete — ask us for the detail.
