Domus GT-673 Vienna Exterior Pillar Mount Light

The Domus GT-673 Vienna is an exterior pillar mount light — 560 mm high, 164 mm wide, 290 mm deep, IP23, taking one B22 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

⭐ It is the same lantern as the post — only the column differs

• ⭐ Every dimension matches except the height — so the difference is purely the column beneath.
• ⭐ Which is genuinely useful for a scheme: a pillar mount on the gate piers and posts down the drive will look identical from the road, because the visible part is the same fitting.
• ⭐ And the projection is the same 290 mm, so a pier and a verge need the same clearance.
• ⚠ Nothing on either listing says they are the same head. ⭐ Ask us if you are planning a matched scheme and we will confirm the finish batch as well.

⭐ 560 mm on a pier is a considered height

• ⚠ A pillar mount sits on top of masonry, so the finished height is the pier plus 560 mm. ⭐ On a typical 1.2 m gate pier that puts the lantern at about 1.75 m — comfortably above head height and roughly where a wall bracket would sit.
• ⭐ Which is why a pillar mount often reads better than a post at an entrance: the masonry does the structural work and the light sits where you want it, with no footing in the drive.
• ✅ No footing, no concrete, no cable trench across a driveway — the cable comes up through the pier.
• ⚠ It does need the pier built with a conduit. ⭐ Plan that before the bricklayer finishes, not after — retrofitting a cable route through finished masonry is the expensive way.

⛔ B22 bayonet, and IP23

• ⛔ One B22 lamp, not E27. ⚠ Monaco and Siena are E27 — globes do not transfer between ranges. ⭐ Ask us to supply lamps; warm compact B22 LEDs are less widely stocked.
• ✅ 8–10 W B22 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated. ⛔ No maximum wattage recorded.
• ⛔ IP23: ⭐ the same water resistance as IP43, ⚠ sealed only against objects over 12.5 mm, so insects and fine debris can enter.
• ⛔ No fixing detail, bolt pattern or base plate size is recorded — ⚠ which on a pillar mount is the specification the bricklayer needs. ⭐ Ask us before the piers are built.

• Matched with GT-674 posts down a drive — ⭐ the same lantern head.
• ⚠ Not without a conduit built into the pier — plan the cable route early.
