Domus GT-670 Vienna Exterior Pendant Light

The Domus GT-670 Vienna is a traditional exterior pendant in cast aluminium, Ø164 × 660 mm, taking a B22 bayonet lamp, in beige, black, burgundy, green or white.

Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.

• ⭐ That is the trade-off for the five finishes. The body is powder-coated in the colour you choose after you order, which is why the range offers Beige, Black, Burgundy, Green and White rather than one stocked colour.
• ⚠ Plan the lead time into the job. If it is needed for a handover, a settlement or a booked electrician, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm the production window with Domus.
• ⚠ Order the whole set together. On a property using several of these, a second order placed later starts its own ten days — and a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match the first.

Why it takes a lamp rather than having one built in

• ✅ You choose the light. Warm or neutral, dimmable or not, filament or opal — and you can change your mind later without changing the fitting.
• ✅ It outlives its light source. A cast aluminium body with a replaceable lamp is still working in twenty years; an integrated LED fitting is replaced whole when the LED goes.
• ✅ A visible filament globe suits this shape. The Vienna is a traditional lantern form, and a warm filament LED behind its glass reads correctly in a way a flat panel does not.
• ⚠ The lamp is not included, and neither is a maximum wattage — see above.

Hanging it

• 660 mm overall drop, Ø164 mm across. On a standard verandah ceiling that leaves comfortable clearance; over an entry step, check it against head height for the tallest person who will walk under it.
• ⚠ A pendant under an open-sided verandah will swing in wind. Somewhere sheltered on three sides is a better position than a corner that catches a southerly.
• ✅ Five finishes is unusual for an exterior fitting and lets it match a colour scheme rather than default to black.

⚠ About the “Requires: Wall Bracket” line on its datasheet

The datasheet for this product is a range sheet covering the whole GT family, and it carries a line reading “Requires: Lamp GT-671 Wall Bracket Straight Arm Facing Up”.

That is another configuration in the same range, not a part this pendant needs. A pendant hangs from a ceiling; it does not need a wall bracket. ⚠ This is the eighth Domus product we have found carrying a range sheet whose “requires” line describes a sibling, and read literally it sends customers looking for parts they will never use. What this pendant needs is a ceiling fixing point and a B22 lamp.

The warranty

⚠ One year, not the three years most of this catalogue carries. That is consistent across the GT range and it is not an error — it is simply a shorter term, and worth knowing before you compare it against a three-year fitting on price alone.
