The Domus EXIT-SM-24M is a 3.5 W surface-mounted LED exit sign in black or white — 24 metre viewing distance, a 2-hour LiFePO₄ battery, 53,000 hours, mountable on a wall, a ceiling or suspended, with single and double-sided decals included.

This is a life-safety fitting, so two things matter more than the usual.

  • The 24 metre viewing distance is the specification that decides how many you need and where they go. Under AS/NZS 2293 an exit must be visible from anywhere in the space it serves — so the sign's rated viewing distance sets the spacing, not the room's appearance.
  • The 2-hour battery duration is the AS/NZS 2293 requirement for emergency operation. It is not a bonus figure; it is the compliance one.

⚠ Your certifier signs off the installation, and the design of an emergency lighting scheme is their work, not a product page's.

✅ The features that make it quick to install and cheap to own
  • Single and double-sided decals are included. One product covers a corridor sign seen from both directions and a wall sign seen from one — you are not stocking two SKUs.
  • Quick-release decal fitting — the legend and arrows are applied on site, so the direction is decided at installation rather than at order.
  • Fast-fit mounting for wall, ceiling or suspended, from the same fitting.
  • ✅ The battery is replaceable, with an easy-replacement function. That is the important one: batteries are the part of an emergency fitting that fails first, and a sign whose battery can be changed has a much longer service life than one that has to be replaced whole.
  • LiFePO₄ rather than the older nickel chemistries — longer cycle life and better behaviour at the temperatures a ceiling void reaches.

How many do I need and where do they go?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
