The Domus DUSK-PATH-S is a solid brass hooded spike path light with a Ø84 mm head — IP65, 4 W at 12 V DC, CRI ≥90, with a replaceable tri-colour lamp. Two post heights, bronze or black.

Is the small one dimmer than the large one?

No — all three DUSK-PATH sizes carry the same 4W lamp and the same 90° beam. What differs is the hood, so the small head gives a tighter, brighter pool rather than a dimmer one. The trade-off is shielding: a small hood hides the source from directly above but not from a low angle, so at Ø84mm you are more likely to see the lamp itself when walking towards it. On a path people walk directly along, the medium is the more comfortable choice.

When is the small one the right choice?

When you want discretion. By day it reads as a small brass marker rather than a light fitting, which on a narrow border, a formal planting scheme or a period garden is exactly right. Is the lamp G4 or G5.3?

G5.3 — the title says G4 and it is wrong. The datasheet says Bi-Pin G5.3, and its own item table lists SKU 65124, the KEY-G5.3-TRIO lamp stocked in this catalogue. That is the manufacturer's parts list. G4 has 4mm pin spacing and G5.3 has 5.3mm, so they do not interchange. All three DUSK-PATH listings carry the same title error — do not buy a G4 lamp for it.

Does it come with a driver?

No — a 12V DC constant-voltage LED driver is required and not supplied. Wire the fittings in parallel, never in series. If the driver is going outdoors, use an IP67 one; the DRIVER-12V-IP67 range in this catalogue is rated for temporary immersion and carries a 5-year warranty.

Why does CRI ≥90 matter on a small garden light?

It matters most on a small fitting, because what you see lit is the planting right beside it. A low-CRI source turns foliage grey-green and makes bark and mulch look flat; at CRI ≥90 the greens stay green and the textures read. On a large flood washing a lawn you might not notice; on a small hooded light sitting among shrubs, you do.

Why is so little in the listing specifications?

The record holds very little for this fitting — no wattage, no colour temperature, no lumens, no material. Everything on this page comes from a datasheet our checking process verified against this SKU, so the figures are sound; they simply are not in fields. Anything generated from the structured record alone would show a path light with no wattage and no output.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
