The Domus DRIVER-24V-IP20-DIM is an indoor dimmable 24 V DC constant-voltage LED driver — IP20, in 20, 30, 60 and 100 W, 100 × 36 × 18 mm.
| Compact IP20 | Dimmable | Non-dimmable |
|---|---|---|
| 12 V | 69 g | ⚠ 100 g |
| 24 V | 69 g | ⚠ 100 g |
Indoor dimmable 24 V DC constant-voltage LED driver. IP20. 20 / 30 / 60 / 100 W. 100 × 36 × 18 mm, 69 g. Efficiency up to 89%, PF >0.95. 240 V AC input. Parallel wiring. ⛔ Our record lists 12W, which is not one of its variants — it appears to be the 12V figure recorded as a wattage. ⛔ Every fitting on the run must be 24V. ⚠ Tell us your dimmer. ⛔ Warranty not recorded.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It looks like a voltage recorded as a wattage. This is a 24V driver in a body shared with the 12V version, and 12 is the 12V figure — so the wrong number appears to have landed in the wattage field. Ignore it and choose from the dropdown. Two drivers in this range record a wattage that is not a variant, and both have a plausible wrong-field source: the other one records 10W, which matches one of its dimming protocols.
For a long run, 24V. At the same power it draws half the current, which means half the volt drop over the same cable — so a cove that would fade noticeably towards the far end at 12V usually will not at 24V. It also means more strip per driver before volt drop becomes the limit. But every fitting on the run must be 24V: a 12V strip on a 24V supply fails immediately. Check the strip before choosing the driver.
Add up the load and allow about 20% headroom, because a driver run at its rated maximum runs hotter and lasts less time. A worked example: 24V strip at 14.4W per metre over 5m is 72W, so you want the 100W driver rather than the 60W. Tell us the strip and the run length and we will size it with you.
Tell us which one and we will confirm. A constant-voltage driver on a mismatched dimmer flickers at low levels, and a light load makes it worse — so the combination matters more than either component alone. If you do not need dimming, the non-dimmable version of the same driver has fewer things to go wrong.
Somewhere hidden but reachable. At 100 × 36 × 18mm the 18mm depth lets it fit a joinery void, a pelmet or a shadow gap without building a housing. But do not seal it in: the driver is the part most likely to fail in a strip installation and the LEDs generally outlive it. If it will not fit, the slim linear drivers are 30mm wide and 18.5mm deep — longer but narrower, and they lie inside a profile channel, at the cost of efficiency (79% against this driver's 89%).
We do not know, and we are flagging rather than fixing it. In both 12V and 24V the compact dimmable driver records 69g and the non-dimmable 100g — which runs the wrong way, since the dimmable version has more circuitry. What is interesting is that the slim linear pair runs the right way (350g dimmable against 200g non-dimmable), which makes a transposition on the compact pair the more likely reading. It is still an inference and we have not changed either figure.
No. IP20 means no water protection at all and only protection against fingers for solids — it is an indoor dry-location component. For a garden, a bathroom or anywhere damp, the 24V IP67 driver is the right part; it is rated for temporary immersion and can go in a garden bed.

| Model / SKUs | DRIVER-24V-IP20-DIM — 20216 20W, 20217 30W, 20219 60W, 20221 100W |
| Type | Constant-voltage LED driver, indoor, dimmable |
| Output | 24V DC — ⭐ half the current and half the volt drop of 12V at the same power |
| Wattages | 20 / 30 / 60 / 100W — ⛔ our record lists 12W, which is not a variant (it matches the 12V figure) |
| Size | 100 × 36 × 18mm — 18mm deep fits a joinery void or shadow gap |
| Weight | 69g — ⚠ lighter than the non-dimmable version (100g), which runs the wrong way. Consistent across both voltages |
| IP rating | IP20 — ⛔ indoor dry locations only |
| Dimming | ✅ Yes — ⚠ tell us the dimmer; a mismatched pairing flickers at low levels |
| Efficiency | Up to 89%; power factor >0.95 — ⭐ 10 points better than the slim linear drivers |
| Wiring | ⭐ Parallel — not series |
| ⛔ Fitting voltage | Every fitting on the run must be 24V. A 12V strip will fail immediately |
| ⚠ Sizing | Allow ~20% headroom. 24V strip at 14.4W/m over 5m = 72W → the 100W driver |
| Supply | 240V AC |
| Application | ✅ Indoor — correctly recorded |
| Warranty | ⛔ Not recorded (the IP67 siblings' prose states 5 years) |
| Run at 14.4W/m (24V strip) | Load | Driver |
|---|---|---|
| 2m | 28.8W | 30W — ⚠ tight; consider 60W |
| 4m | 57.6W | 60W |
| 5m | 72W | ⭐ 100W |
| ⛔ 12V strip | — | Wrong driver — use a 12V one |
