Domus DECO-15 RND 15W LED TRIO Downlight

The Domus DECO-15 is a 15 W round LED downlight with switchable tri-colour, CRI ≥80, a 100° beam and a Ø120–130 mm cutout. White or black.

⛔ The cutout is Ø120–130 mm, and that is the first thing to check

• ⛔ It will NOT drop into a standard 90 mm downlight hole. Most 15 W downlights take Ø90–95 mm; this one needs a hole a third larger again.
• ⭐ So this is a new-install fitting, not a retrofit one. If you are replacing existing downlights, measure the holes first — and if they are 90 mm, this is the wrong product and we will find you one that fits.
• ✅ The Ø120–130 mm range is generous, which helps: a hole cut anywhere in that 10 mm band is covered, so a slightly oversized or reworked opening is not automatically a problem.
• ⛔ This figure is on the datasheet and in no product field. ⚠ It is not an isolated gap — across 127 recessed Domus products, only 40 hold a cutout field. On 43 the datasheet has it and no field does; on 20 it is in no source at all.

Specifying it

• 15 W, 240 V AC.
• Tri-colour switchable: 3000 K 1,300 lm · 4000 K 1,370 lm · 5700 K 1,440 lm. ⭐ Set at installation, and nothing on the outside tells you afterwards which position it is in.
• CRI ≥80 — ⭐ the right side of the line for a living space, and better than the ≥70 of the floodlights in this catalogue.
• 100° beam angle — a wide spread, so fewer fittings cover a room, but ⚠ less punch on a specific surface. For accenting a bench or artwork, a narrower optic does more.
• Dimmable, ⚠ “with suitable dimmers” — the datasheet's own qualifier. Tell us your dimmer and how many fittings are on the circuit and we will confirm the combination.
• 50,000 hrs rated life — ⭐ well above the 20,000 of the BLAZE-PRO floodlights and 10,000 more than the BOLT emergency battens.

⚠ The IP44 rating is qualified, and the qualification matters

The datasheet states IP44 “from the underside of the down light once installed into the ceiling”.

• ⚠ That is not a general IP44. It describes the fitting in place with the ceiling closing off the top — not the fitting on a bench, and not one in an open or partially built ceiling.
• ⭐ Which is the difference between a bathroom ceiling and a bathroom shower zone. If the position is a genuine wet zone, ask us; a rating that depends on how the fitting is installed needs checking against the actual detail.
• ⚠ The same qualification appears on the BOLT emergency battens in this catalogue, so it is a house pattern rather than a one-off.

⛔ What the product record does not hold

Its datasheet gives the cutout, the IP rating, the lumen output, the CRI and the beam angle. The record holds none of them — only voltage, wattage, colour temperatures and the bulb type.

⚠ Which matters beyond this page. Anything generated from the structured record — a feed, a filter, a comparison table — would show a 15 W downlight with no cutout, no IP rating and no output. The figures exist; they are just not in a field.
