The Domus DECO-15 is a 15 W round LED downlight with switchable tri-colour, CRI ≥80, a 100° beam and a Ø120–130 mm cutout. White or black.
The datasheet states IP44 “from the underside of the down light once installed into the ceiling”.
Its datasheet gives the cutout, the IP rating, the lumen output, the CRI and the beam angle. The record holds none of them — only voltage, wattage, colour temperatures and the bulb type.
⚠ Which matters beyond this page. Anything generated from the structured record — a feed, a filter, a comparison table — would show a 15 W downlight with no cutout, no IP rating and no output. The figures exist; they are just not in a field.
15 W round LED downlight. ⭐ Cutout Ø120–130 mm — will not fit a standard 90 mm hole. Tri-colour 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K switchable, 1,300 / 1,370 / 1,440 lm. CRI ≥80. 100° beam. 50,000 hrs. 240 V AC. Dimmable with suitable dimmers. White or black. ⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed into the ceiling — not a general IP44; ask us for a wet zone. ⛔ The cutout, IP rating, lumen output, CRI and beam angle are on the datasheet and in no product field. ⛔ Warranty not recorded.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Ø120–130mm, and this is the first thing to check because it will not drop into a standard 90mm downlight hole. Most 15W downlights take Ø90–95mm; this one needs a hole a third larger again. So it is a new-install fitting rather than a retrofit — if you are replacing existing downlights, measure the holes first, and if they are 90mm ask us and we will find you one that fits. The 10mm range is generous, so a hole cut anywhere in that band is covered.
It is on the datasheet and in no product field, which on a recessed downlight is a real gap — the cutout is the specification. It is not isolated either: across 127 recessed Domus products only 40 hold a cutout field, 43 have it on the datasheet only, and 20 have it in no source at all. On this page we have published it from the sheet. Anything generated from the structured record alone would show a downlight with no cutout.
It depends on the zone, and the rating is qualified. The datasheet says IP44 "from the underside of the down light once installed into the ceiling" — describing the fitting in place with the ceiling closing off the top, not one on a bench or in a partially built ceiling. That covers a general bathroom or laundry ceiling; it is not a shower-zone rating. Tell us the position and we will check it against the actual detail. The same qualification appears on the BOLT battens here, so it is a house pattern rather than a one-off.
Yes, but with the datasheet's own qualifier: "fully dimmable with suitable dimmers". That wording is doing real work — dimmable is not the same as compatible with your particular dimmer, and LED downlights on an older or mismatched dimmer can flicker, buzz or refuse to start at low levels. Tell us which dimmer you have and how many fittings are on the circuit and we will confirm the combination before you buy.
Three are switchable on the fitting: 3000K at 1,300lm, 4000K at 1,370lm and 5700K at 1,440lm. For living rooms and bedrooms, 3000K. For kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, 4000K. 5700K is a working-space light and looks stark in a home. Set it at installation — nothing on the outside of the fitting tells you afterwards which position it is in, so decide before the electrician closes the ceiling.
For general lighting, yes — a wide beam means fewer fittings cover the same floor area and the light is even rather than patchy. What it will not do is accent: for lighting a bench, a splashback or artwork you want a narrower optic that puts a defined pool where you aim it. If you are mixing general and accent lighting in one room, tell us the layout and we will suggest both.
50,000 hours, which is at the good end of this catalogue — well above the 20,000 hours of the BLAZE-PRO floodlights and 10,000 more than the BOLT emergency battens. At four hours a day that is roughly thirty years, so in a domestic ceiling the fitting will almost certainly be replaced for style reasons long before it fails.
