The Domus CYCLOPS is a mother-and-child floor lamp in black: a 20 W uplighter giving up to 1,350 lumens and a 7 W reading light giving up to 336 lumens, both push-dimmable and switchable across four colour temperatures.
✅ Four colour temperatures, not three — and our record only lists three. This lamp switches between 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K and 6000 K. The 6000 K setting is missing from the product record and it is a real option.
That fourth step is genuinely useful on a floor lamp. A four-way switch turns one piece of furniture into a warm living-room lamp in the evening and a cool, high-contrast work light during the day — which is exactly what a lamp in a home office or a studio needs to do.
⚠ Ignore any suggestion that this lamp is “installed into the ceiling”. Its datasheet carries that phrase as a footnote on the IP rating — it is boilerplate from a recessed downlight document and has nothing to do with a floor lamp.
| 3000 K | 4000 K | 5000 K | 6000 K | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mother (20 W, up) | 1,350 lm | 1,317 lm | 1,309 lm | 1,342 lm |
| Child (7 W, task) | 336 lm | 256 lm | 258 lm | 332 lm |
Mother-and-child LED uplighter floor lamp, black. 20 W uplighter + 7 W task light (27 W total). Weight 4.3 kg. Four switchable colour temperatures — 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K / 6000 K (⚠ our record lists only three). Uplighter 1,350 / 1,317 / 1,309 / 1,342 lm; task light 336 / 256 / 258 / 332 lm. Both push-dimmable. CRI ≥80, Class III, 20,000 hrs. 240 V AC, IP20, indoor — ⚠ its datasheet's IP footnote about being “installed into the ceiling” is boilerplate from a downlight document and does not apply to a floor lamp. ⚠ Warranty 1 year.

Four — 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K and 6000 K. Our product record lists only three and omits the 6000 K, which is a real option. That fourth step is genuinely useful on a floor lamp: it turns one piece of furniture into a warm living-room lamp in the evening and a cool, high-contrast work light during the day.
Barely on the uplighter — it varies by under 4% across all four settings, so changing colour does not dim the room. The reading light is a different story: 336 lumens at 3000 K but only 256 at 4000 K, a 24% drop. If you read at the neutral setting you get noticeably less light than at the warm one, and oddly it recovers to 332 lumens at 6000 K.
Because that footnote is boilerplate from a recessed downlight document and has been pasted onto this product's sheet. A floor lamp stands on the floor. Ignore it — the practical meaning of the IP20 rating here is simply that this is an indoor, dry-area lamp.
Yes, both lights, and it is push-dimmable at the fitting rather than needing a wall dimmer — which is why it works in a rental or anywhere without a dimmer circuit. The uplighter and the reading light dim independently, so the room level and the reading level are set separately.
On a white or light ceiling, yes — 1,350 lumens bounced off a ceiling gives soft, sourceless light across a living room, which makes it a genuine alternative where there is no ceiling point. On a dark or timber ceiling you will lose most of it and a different lamp would serve you better.
At 4.3 kg it is heavy for a floor lamp, and that is deliberate — a tall uplighter with a light base tips over. The weight is on the datasheet and not in the product record, which is why we are stating it here.
It is below the 40,000 to 50,000 most of this catalogue quotes. At four hours a night that is still around thirteen years. Combined with the one-year warranty it is worth knowing when comparing this against a lamp with a longer term — the trade-off you are buying is the four-way colour switch and the two independent push-dimmed lights.
