The Domus BOLT-60-EM is a 640 mm emergency LED batten with dual wattage 10 / 20 W, tri-colour switching and a LiFePO4 emergency battery, fully compliant to AS/NZS 2293.
| BOLT-60-EM | BOLT-120-EM | |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 640 mm | 1,200 mm |
| Body width | ⛔ 130 mm | 80 mm |
| Emergency duration | ⛔ 90 minutes | 120 minutes |
| Wattage | 10 / 20 W | 10 / 40 W |
IP44 “from the underside of the batten once installed into the ceiling” — ⚠ not a general IP44. It describes the fitting in place with the ceiling closing the top. For a genuine damp or wash-down location, ask us.
3 years on the fitting, ⛔ 1 year on the battery. Our record holds only the 3-year figure. ⭐ On an emergency luminaire the battery term is the one that matters — it is the part that ages and the part that fails the periodic discharge test. Plan replacement as maintenance.
640 mm emergency LED batten (nominal 600 mm / 2 ft), 640 × 130 × 80 mm, metal and polycarbonate. Dual wattage 10 / 20 W, tri-colour 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K, both switched on the internal driver. Up to 2,000 lm. CRI ≥80. 120° beam. 40,000 hrs. 220–240 V AC. Surface mounted or suspended. Emergency: LiFePO4 6.4 V 1,500 mAh, ⛔ 90-minute duration, sustained rated, 7-hour charge, classification C0: D50 / C90: D32, fully compliant to AS/NZS 2293. ⛔ Not dimmable. ⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed into the ceiling. ⚠ Warranty 3 years on the fitting, 1 year on the battery.

640mm. The title says 600mm because that is the fluorescent size it replaces — the fitting itself, including its end caps, measures 640mm, and both the record and the datasheet say so. Order to 640mm. If it is going into a fixed recess, a joinery gap or between two obstructions, that 40mm is the difference between fitting and not.
No, and there are two differences that matter. Its body is 130mm wide against the 1200mm model's 80mm — the shorter fitting is the wider one, which is counter-intuitive and is on both datasheets. And its emergency duration is 90 minutes against the larger model's 120. So if you are mixing lengths in one space they will not look like a family, and they are not interchangeable in a designed emergency layout.
Check first. They share the same C0: D50, C90: D32 classification, so they space identically — but they do not run for the same time. This one gives 90 minutes and the 1200mm gives 120. If your drawing specifies a duration, find out which fitting it was drawn around before substituting, because the spacing being right does not make the duration right.
Two terms: 3 years on the fitting and 1 year on the battery. Our record holds only the 3-year figure — the battery term is on the datasheet and in no product field. On an emergency luminaire that is the one that matters, since the battery is the part that ages and the part that fails the periodic discharge test. Plan its replacement as maintenance rather than expecting a warranty claim.
At the 10W setting it gives the same 900–1,000lm as the 1200mm model does at its 10W setting — the same light from a fitting half the length, so it is proportionally brighter along its run. At full output it gives up to 2,000lm against the larger fitting's 4,000lm, which is what you would expect from 20W against 40W.
Not as stated. The datasheet qualifies it: IP44 "from the underside of the batten once installed into the ceiling", describing the fitting in place with the ceiling closing off the top rather than one suspended with air all round. That covers a covered car park; it is not a wash-down rating. For a genuinely damp location, ask us.
At installation, with the fitting open — both are switches on the internal driver rather than controls you can reach afterwards. Decide before the electrician closes it up, because changing your mind later means a ladder and a screwdriver.
