The Domus BOLT-120-EM is a 1,200 mm emergency LED batten with dual wattage 10 / 40 W, tri-colour switching and a LiFePO4 emergency battery, fully compliant to AS/NZS 2293.
| Part | Term |
|---|---|
| The fitting | 3 years |
| The battery | ⛔ 1 year |
The datasheet states IP44 “from the underside of the batten once installed into the ceiling”.
The same product, SKU 66006, is sold on two separate pages with different addresses and different option names — “Tri Color” here and “White” on the other. ⚠ They are one product. ⛔ This listing records no dimensions; the other records 1,200 × 80 × 65 mm. Use those figures — they are the same fitting.
1,200 mm emergency LED batten. Dual wattage 10 / 40 W, tri-colour 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K, both switched on the internal driver. Up to 4,000 lm. CRI ≥80. 120° beam. 40,000 hrs. 240 V AC. Surface mounted or suspended; wide body 80 mm. Emergency: LiFePO4 6.4 V 1,500 mAh, 120-minute duration, sustained rated, 7-hour charge, classification C0: D50 / C90: D32, fully compliant to AS/NZS 2293. ⛔ Not dimmable. ⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed into the ceiling — not a general IP44. ⚠ Warranty: 3 years on the fitting, 1 year on the battery. ⛔ Dimensions not recorded on this listing; its duplicate records 1,200 × 80 × 65 mm.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Two different terms, and only one is on the listing: 3 years on the fitting and 1 year on the battery. The battery term is on the datasheet and in no product field, and on an emergency luminaire it is the one that matters — the battery is the part that ages and the part that fails the periodic discharge test AS/NZS 2293 requires. Budget battery replacement as a maintenance item rather than expecting it as a warranty claim; that is normal for emergency lighting and better known in advance.
120 minutes, and the battery takes 7 hours to charge from flat. That charge time is a commissioning fact worth having: a fitting energised on the morning of a handover test will not pass it. As for whether 120 minutes is enough — that is set by your building's classification and your electrical designer, not by the product. Check the figure against your design rather than a rule of thumb.
It is what a designer spaces the fittings with. The classification describes the shape and reach of the emergency light on the floor, and AS/NZS 2293.1 turns it into a spacing table — which is far more directly useful than a lumen figure, since lumens say nothing about coverage. If you are substituting this into a layout designed around a different fitting, re-check the spacing rather than assuming it drops in.
Not as stated. The datasheet qualifies it: IP44 "from the underside of the batten once installed into the ceiling" — so it describes the fitting in place with the ceiling closing off the top, not a batten on a bench or one suspended with air all round it. That is the difference between a covered car park and a genuine wash-down area. If your location is properly damp, ask us and we will check the detail, or point you at a batten rated without qualification.
It does, and it is one product — SKU 66006 sits on two listings with different addresses and different option names, "Tri Color" on one and "White" on the other. Whichever you order you receive the same batten. One practical difference: this listing records no dimensions and the other records 1,200 × 80 × 65mm. Use those figures.
Both are switches on the internal driver, inside the fitting — the wattage between 10W and 40W, and the colour between 3000K, 4000K and 5700K. That means they are set at installation with the fitting open, not afterwards from below. Decide before the electrician closes it up. Our record lists only 10W; the fitting does both.
Yes, and that is the main argument for it — up to 4,000lm at 40W with CRI ≥80 is a proper working light, not a token one, and it saves you a second fitting and a second set of holes in the ceiling. The CRI ≥80 is worth noting: it is better than the ≥70 of the floodlights in this catalogue and on the right side of the line for a workplace.
