The Domus CORNER-16-RND is a corner-mounting aluminium LED profile with a curved opal PMMA diffuser, 16 × 16 mm in section and 2,500 mm long, in anodised aluminium, black or white.
✅ It is designed to sit in a corner — and that is the whole reason to choose it over a flat-backed profile.
A 16 × 16 mm section mounted against the internal angle where two surfaces meet throws its light out across both of them, from a channel that is almost invisible. The junction of a wall and a ceiling, the back of a joinery reveal, the inside corner of a shelf or a stair stringer — places a flat profile cannot sit neatly at all.
⚠ It is filed in our catalogue under indoor ceiling lights. It is not a light — it is an empty channel, and the LED strip and its driver are separate purchases. Our record also carries a voltage and a colour-changing flag on it, neither of which applies to an extrusion.
Natural clear anodised against metal, stone and concrete; black against dark joinery, where it reads as a shadow line when unlit; white against white cabinetry and painted plasterboard, where it should not be seen at all.
✅ In a wall-to-ceiling corner, white is usually right — the profile is meant to vanish and the light is meant to appear from nowhere.
Corner-mount aluminium LED profile, extruded aluminium 6063, with a curved opal PMMA diffuser. Section 16 × 16 mm. Length 2,500 mm continuous. Finishes: natural clear anodised, black or white; custom powder coating available. Supplied with silver end caps and mounting clips, sold each.
⛔ The LED strip and its driver are separate purchases, and ⚠ no source records the maximum strip width this channel accepts — at 16 mm it is the narrowest in the range, so send us the strip and we will confirm the fit. ⚠ This product is filed under indoor ceiling lights; it is an empty extrusion, and our record's voltage and colour-changing flag do not apply to it. ⛔ No warranty term is recorded — ask us.

It is designed to sit in an internal angle where two surfaces meet, rather than flat against one. Mounted at 45° in that angle, a 16 × 16 mm section throws its light across both planes at once — a wall and a ceiling together — from a channel that tucks into the corner and largely disappears. A flat-backed profile cannot sit neatly there at all.
A wall-to-ceiling junction, for an indirect cove without building a rebate; the back of a joinery reveal; the inside corner of shelving; a stair stringer. Anywhere you want light to appear from the angle itself rather than from a visible fitting. At 16 mm it is a detail line, not a main light source.
No — it is an empty channel, and the strip and its driver are separate purchases. Our catalogue files it under indoor ceiling lights, which is misleading: it is a profile. Our record also carries a voltage and a colour-changing flag on it, and neither applies to an extrusion.
A dotless COB strip. At 16 mm there is very little room between the strip and the diffuser, so an ordinary SMD strip will show individual LEDs through it. The curved diffuser helps — it diffuses across a longer path than a flat lens of the same depth — but at this size it needs a good strip to work with. No source records the maximum strip width, so tell us which one you are considering and we will confirm.
Check the angle before ordering a long run. A corner profile relies on a clean internal angle, so a wall-to-ceiling junction with a cornice, or an out-of-square corner, will stop it sitting flush. On an older house in particular that is worth measuring rather than assuming.
Mitre the internal corners rather than butting the lengths. A corner profile that simply butts at a change of direction leaves a visible gap in the light line, which on an indirect cove is exactly where the eye goes. Aluminium mitres cleanly with a fine blade — just deburr the cut before the diffuser goes in.
In a wall-to-ceiling corner, white is usually right — the whole point is that the profile vanishes and the light appears from nowhere. Natural anodised suits metal, stone and concrete; black sits against dark joinery and reads as a shadow line when unlit. Custom powder coating is also available if you are matching a specific colour.
