DOMUS CHESTER 2LT 2.11M POSTLIGHT B22

The Domus CHESTER 2LT is a twin-head post light on a 2.11 m post — 660 mm wide across the two lanterns, die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses, IP43, taking two B22 lamps.

Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.

• ⭐ That is the trade-off for the finish choice. The body is powder-coated in the colour you pick after you order, which is why the range offers five rather than one stocked colour.
• ⚠ Plan the lead time into the job. If it is needed for a handover, a settlement or a booked electrician, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm the production window with Domus.
• ⚠ Order the whole set together. On a property using several of these, a second order placed later starts its own ten days — and a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match the first.

⭐ This is the CHESTER that lights an area

• ⭐ Two lanterns above head height is where a twin earns its price. Below head height a second lantern buys symmetry; above it, the two beams overlap and cover ground a single head cannot.
• ✅ One post can do the work of two or three singles at a driveway entrance, a turning circle or a courtyard.
• ⚠ Both lanterns are visible and lit at eye level and above, so a bright cool globe doubles the glare rather than doubling the useful light. Warm and modest is the right choice.

⛔ Two lamp holders, no wattage figure of any kind

• ⛔ No per-lamp maximum, and no total for the two. Neither the record nor the datasheet gives either.
• ⭐ With two holders this is a circuit question, not a globe one. Two 60 W incandescents is 120 W on one post and nothing confirms the fitting or its wiring supports it.
• ✅ Two B22 LEDs at 9–11 W each — 18–22 W between them — is what we would fit, and at this height it is plenty.
• ⚠ Matched lamps, bought together. Two different globes on one post are obvious after dark, and more so above head height where both lenses are in view.

⛔ The largest wind load in the single-and-twin range, and no rating for it

• ⛔ No footing depth, base plate size, fixing pattern or wind rating is recorded anywhere.
• ⚠ This configuration is the worst case of the ones below it: two lanterns on arms, 2.11 m up, catching wind off-axis. More lever arm than the 1.49 m twin and more sail area than any single head.
• ⭐ Settle the footing with us before the concreter is on site. It is set in concrete long before anyone tests the light, and it is the one thing on this product that cannot be fixed afterwards.

Wall bracket, pillar mount, post top and pendant, plus singles at 1.32, 1.96 and 2.37 m, twins at 1.49 m, 2.11 m, 2.47 m and a 2.4 m curved arm, and triples at 2.47 m and 2.4 m curved. ⭐ On the shared datasheet and on no product page.

⛔ That shared sheet is why it says “Requires: Lamp GT-131 Wall Bracket” on a post light — 106 products across nine lantern families carry it, 79 where it is self-contradictory. Nothing extra is needed.
