The Domus CHAM-DIM-DALI-1C is a single-channel DALI and PUSH DIM interface for 12–24 V DC constant-voltage LED, handling 96 W at 12 V or 192 W at 24 V. 180 × 60 × 34 mm.
✅ One channel, single colour — and that is the whole point of it. Where the four-channel version of this interface handles RGB and RGBW, this one does one thing: dim a single-colour LED installation, cleanly, from a DALI system or a plain wall switch.
⚠ Our record flags this device as colour-changing. It cannot be — a single-channel interface has nothing to mix, and the product's own name says single colour. If you need colour control, the four-channel CHAM-DIM-DALI-4C is the one.
⚠ Its datasheet did not yield readable figures, so everything on this page comes from the product record and Domus's own description. Ask us if any figure is load-bearing on your specification and we will get the document from Domus.
| Supply | Maximum load |
|---|---|
| 12 V DC | 96 W |
| 24 V DC | 192 W |
| DALI-1C (this) | DALI-4C | |
|---|---|---|
| Channels | 1 | 4 |
| Handles | Single colour | Single colour (4 zones), tunable white, RGB, RGBW |
| Voltage | 12–24 V DC | 12–36 V DC |
| Load | 96 W / 192 W | 4 × (96–288 W) |
✅ Choose this one where the installation is genuinely single colour — a cove, an under-cabinet run, a handrail. There is no advantage in paying for channels you will not use.
CHAM-DIM-DALI-1C single-channel DALI and PUSH DIM interface. 180 × 60 × 34 mm. 12–24 V DC constant voltage. Maximum load 96 W at 12 V, 192 W at 24 V. One channel — single colour. Accepts a standard DALI signal from any automation system, with auto or manual addressing, or dims from a retractive wall switch via PUSH DIM.
⛔ A constant-voltage LED driver is required upstream and is not included, and the LED strip is separate again. ⚠ Our record flags this device as colour-changing; a single-channel interface has nothing to mix. ⚠ No warranty term is recorded — ask us and we will confirm it in writing. ⚠ Figures here are from the product record and Domus's description; the datasheet did not yield readable values.

No — and our record says otherwise, which is why we are leading with it. This is a single-channel interface: it has one output and nothing to mix, and the product's own name says single colour. The colour-changing flag on its record simply does not apply. If you need colour control, the four-channel CHAM-DIM-DALI-4C handles RGB and RGBW.
No, and that is the practical argument for this part. It accepts a standard DALI signal from any automation system, and it also works in PUSH DIM mode, where a plain retractive wall switch dims it with no DALI system at all. So the same interface serves a commissioned commercial building and a house with one dimmer.
A retractive — also called momentary — switch, not a standard toggle. You hold it to dim and press it to toggle. It is a different switch from the usual one, so tell your electrician at rough-in rather than at fit-off, because changing it afterwards means opening the wall plate again.
96 W at 12 V or 192 W at 24 V — the device is current-limited rather than power-limited, so at twice the voltage it carries twice the power for the same current. In practice a 10 W/m strip at 24 V gives you roughly 19 metres on one interface and a 20 W/m strip roughly 9 metres. Tell us the strip and the run and we will check it.
No, despite the category. It is an interface that takes the control signal and sits between a constant-voltage driver and the LED strip. The driver and the strip are both separate purchases, and the driver has to be sized above the load with headroom. Tell us the whole chain and we will specify it together — that is the part people most often get wrong on a dimmed strip installation.
This one where the installation is genuinely single colour — a cove, an under-cabinet run, a handrail. There is no advantage in paying for channels you will not use. The four-channel version handles tunable white, RGB and RGBW, or up to four separate single-colour zones, and it takes a wider 12–36 V input with much more load capacity.
Not recorded on this listing, which is unusual — its four-channel sibling records three years. Ask us and we will confirm it with Domus in writing before you order rather than assume the same term applies.
