This is a sloped-ceiling mounting kit for Domus ceiling fans, rated to 38°, 190 × 190 × 90 mm, in white or black.

Why a sloped ceiling needs a kit at all
  • A standard fan canopy is designed for a flat ceiling and will only take a few degrees of pitch before the downrod binds against the canopy edge.
  • ⛔ Forcing it is not a cosmetic problem. A downrod that cannot hang vertically puts a side load on the ball joint and the fan will wobble, get noisy, and wear.
  • ✅ A sloped-ceiling kit gives the ball joint the clearance to hang the rod plumb whatever the ceiling is doing, which is what keeps the fan quiet.
  • ⚠ 38° is the limit. Cathedral and raked ceilings frequently exceed it — measure yours before ordering rather than estimating from the floor.
How to measure the pitch
  • A spirit level and a tape, or a phone level app held flat against the ceiling.
  • ✅ Measure at the exact position the fan will hang, not at the wall. Raked ceilings often change angle near a ridge or a bulkhead.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
