The Domus CELL-T75 is a tiltable downlight frame for the CELL downlight module series — 100 × 100 mm square, 50 mm deep, for a Ø70–75 mm cutout. Black or white.
The whole reason to choose a tiltable frame over a fixed one is the angle it will reach. Neither the product record nor the datasheet states it.
Tiltable downlight frame for the Domus CELL module series. 100 × 100 mm square, 50 mm deep. Cutout Ø70–75 mm. Black or white. ✅ Warranty 3 years. Module sold separately. ⛔ The tilt angle is not recorded in any source — ask us and we will measure one. ⛔ No IP rating, IC rating or material is recorded; confirm with us before an insulated ceiling or a wet area. ⚠ Our record lists Ø72 mm, which sits inside the sheet’s Ø70–75 mm band and may be the aperture rather than a cutout — work to the sheet.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Ø70–75mm, from the datasheet. It is worth noting that this is a range rather than a single figure, which helps — a hole cut anywhere in that band will be covered, so a slightly oversized or reworked opening is not automatically a problem. Our product record separately lists Ø72mm, which sits inside the band; it is not clear whether that is the aperture or a recommended cutout, so work to the Ø70–75mm.
On this frame it does — T75 for a 70–75mm hole. It does not hold across the range, and that is the trap: the CELL-T90 takes Ø80–85mm rather than 90mm, and the CELL-K75 and CELL-P75 take Ø85mm despite the 75 in their names. So three frames with "75" in the name do not all take the same hole. Check the datasheet for the specific frame every time rather than reading the number off the name.
Not recorded — not in a product field and not on the datasheet, which on a tilt frame is the specification. Without the angle you cannot tell whether it will reach the wall you want to wash, or aim at a painting from wherever the joists let you cut the hole. Ask us and we will measure one; it is a two-minute answer and it decides whether the product suits the job. Whether the tilt locks is also unrecorded, and worth asking about for fittings that will be set once and not revisited.
No. This is the frame only — the CELL downlight module is a separate purchase, and it is the module that decides the output, the beam angle and the colour temperature. That separation is deliberate and useful: the frame goes in at rough-in and the module at fit-off, so the ceiling gets cut, patched and painted before the expensive part is anywhere near the site.
Ask us first. No IP rating is recorded on this frame, and on a recessed ceiling fitting that is the field that decides the answer. We would rather check with Domus than have you install something into a wet area on an assumption.
Confirm with us before you do. No IC rating and no insulation clearance is recorded for this frame, and in an Australian ceiling that is a safety question rather than a preference — insulation packed against a fitting not rated for it is a fire risk. Tell us the ceiling construction and we will get the rating from Domus.
Yes, and it is a good reason to use this system. A tilt frame and a fixed CELL frame share the same Ø70–75mm cutout, so you can run fixed downlights through a corridor and tilted ones washing the end wall, and from below they read as one family. It also means a fixed position can be changed to a tilting one later without re-cutting the ceiling.
