The BLAZE-PRO PIR is a plug-and-play motion sensor that converts a BLAZE-PRO floodlight into a sensor floodlight, IP65, in black or white.
✅ It plugs in — that is the point of it. Every BLAZE-PRO floodlight has a sensor adaptor interface built in, so this sensor fits without wiring, without a separate sensor head on the wall, and without buying a different floodlight.
⛔ Two things you need to know before ordering:
⛔ Detection range. Detection angle. Time delay. Lux threshold. Dimensions. Weight. Warranty. None of these exist in any source we hold.
We would rather say so than fill a specification table with plausible numbers — a sensor quoted at the wrong range is a light that never comes on when you want it.
Plug-and-play PIR sensor accessory for Domus BLAZE-PRO floodlights. IP65. Black or white. Fits the sensor adaptor interface built into every BLAZE-PRO; no wiring required. Direction adjustable independently of the floodlight via an M4 set screw (2 mm Allen key); waterproof cover removed with a 5 mm Allen key. ⛔ Requires a CR2025 battery — not included.
⛔ Detection range, detection angle, time delay, lux threshold, dimensions, weight and warranty term are not recorded in any source. Ask us and we will obtain the detection figures from Domus before you order — they decide whether the light triggers at the gate or at the door.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Not recorded, and we are not going to estimate it. Detection range, detection angle, time delay and lux threshold are the entire specification of a motion sensor and none of the four appears in any source we hold. Ask us and we will get them from Domus before you commit — they decide whether the light triggers when someone reaches your gate or only when they are already at the door.
Yes — a CR2025, and it is not included. That is stated only inside an installation instruction rather than anywhere on the product record, which is why we are flagging it. Add one to the order so the sensor is not sitting on a shelf waiting for a trip to the shops.
Only if it is a BLAZE-PRO. Every floodlight in that range has a sensor adaptor interface built in, which is what makes this plug-and-play — no wiring, no second device on the wall. It is not a general-purpose PIR and will not fit other floodlights.
Yes, and that is usually the better order. Fit the floodlights, live with them, then decide about sensing — most people over-specify sensing before they have seen the light in place. It is just as easy to remove again if it turns out to trigger on a neighbour's driveway.
Yes, and it is the most useful thing about it. Loosen the M4 set screw with a 2 mm Allen key, turn the sensor, tighten it again. That lets you point the light at a driveway and the sensor at the gate, so the light is already on when someone arrives rather than switching on once they are underneath it.
Over an outdoor dining or seating area. A sensor that switches off while people are sitting still is worse than no sensor at all, and nobody wants to wave at a floodlight over dinner. Also think about what else moves nearby — a road, a neighbour's path, a washing line and large pets all trigger PIR sensors.
IP65, which covers full exposure — but the rating depends on the waterproof cover being re-sealed properly after you fit the battery. The cover comes off with a 5 mm Allen key, and a sensor sits in exactly the position that gets weather, so it is worth doing carefully.
