The Domus AVIGNON 3LT is a traditional exterior post light with three lantern heads on a 2.4 metre post, in die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses, IP43, taking three B22 lamps, in beige, black, burgundy, green or white. 660 mm across.
Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.
⚠ A third lantern for 20 mm of extra width — which tells you how the heads are arranged.
The twin head on the same post is 640 mm across; this is 660 mm. Three lanterns in a line would be far wider than a pair, so the heads are almost certainly clustered or arranged in a triangle around the post rather than in a row.
⚠ That is a reading of the dimensions, not a recorded fact — and it changes how the fitting looks from every angle, which on the most prominent light on a property is worth settling. Ask us for a photograph before you specify it.
✅ If the reading is right, it is a good arrangement: a triangle throws light evenly in all directions from one post, where three in a row would light along an axis and leave the sides dark.
✅ A triple at the turning circle, twins at the gate, single heads down the drive, pillar mounts on the piers, a wall bracket at the door. One lantern, five mountings, one scheme.
⚠ No page in the catalogue says the others exist. Tell us the positions and we will quote the set. ⚠ Its datasheet's "Requires: Lamp GT-271 Wall Bracket" line is the AVIGNON series code plus a diagram caption — and a GTA-271 replacement acrylic panel set is sold separately.
AVIGNON traditional exterior post light, triple head on a 2.4 m post. Overall height 2,420 mm; 660 mm across. Die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses; made in Italy, assembled and powder coated in Australia. 3 × B22 bayonet lamp holders — lamps not included. ⛔ No per-lamp or total maximum wattage is recorded in any source — with three holders that is a circuit question, so ask us before fitting anything but LED. 220–240 V AC. IP43. Beige, black, burgundy, green or white. ⚠ Warranty 1 year.
⚠ Head arrangement: at 660 mm across against the twin's 640 mm, the three heads are almost certainly clustered rather than in a line — a reading, not a recorded fact. Ask us for a photograph before specifying. ⛔ No footing specification or wind rating is recorded, on the heaviest head arrangement in the range.

Almost certainly clustered or in a triangle around the post rather than in a line — and that is a reading of the dimensions rather than a recorded fact. The twin head on the same post is 640 mm across and this is 660 mm; three lanterns in a row would be far wider than a pair. It changes how the fitting looks from every angle, so on the most prominent light on a property it is worth settling. Ask us for a photograph before you specify it.
Not recorded — no per-lamp figure and no total, and with three holders that becomes a circuit question rather than a globe question. Three LED B22 at 9–11 W draw around 30 W between them and run cool. Three 60 W incandescents would be 180 W on one post and no source confirms the fitting supports it, so ask us before fitting anything but LED.
Not recorded on any AVIGNON post, and on this one the omission matters most — three lanterns at 2.4 m is the greatest weight and the greatest wind area in the range. Ask us and we will get what Domus specifies before anything is dug. A clustered head arrangement does load the base more evenly than a twin, which helps, but only if the reading of the dimensions is right.
A formal entrance — a gated driveway, a circular turning area, a large forecourt — or the centre of an open space where light is wanted in every direction from one point, which is what a clustered arrangement is for. Not a suburban front garden: at 2.4 m with three lanterns it will overwhelm a small frontage, and a twin or a single does the job with less presence.
You could, but you should not. Two or three triple heads down a drive is far more light and far more object than a driveway needs. Single heads are the fitting for a run — the 1.9 m for a path, the 2.26 m for a drive — with a triple or a twin reserved for the entrance itself.
At 2.4 m in an open forecourt this fitting stands clear of everything, which is the position IP43 is least suited to — it covers spray falling at up to 60° from vertical, not driven rain and not hosing. There is also three times the lens maintenance: acrylic can craze under years of full sun, and here there are three of them on the most visible fitting on the property. Tell us the exposure and we will say.
Yes, and replace them together. Three heads clustered on one post are seen at once and from every angle, so a single odd lamp — a different colour temperature, or a newer globe beside two aged ones — is unmissable in a way it would not be on separate posts.
