The Domus AQUA-13-TILT is a 13 W IP65 tiltable wet-area downlight — CRI above 90, a 60° beam, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K, in black or white, in TRIO or DALI.
✅ CRI above 90 is the number to notice, and nothing said so. Most downlights sit around CRI 80. Above 90 means colours read as they do in daylight — and this is a fitting designed for bathrooms, where the thing you look at under it is your own face. A low-CRI light over a mirror drains skin; this one does not.
IP65 is dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction. On a downlight that is a high rating, and it opens up placements most fittings cannot take:
⚠ Your electrician still sites it to the zones in AS/NZS 3000 — the rating is a capability, not a permission. And it is rated −20 °C to 45 °C, which covers an Australian eave comfortably.
The three settings are 3000 K, 4000 K and 5700 K. Our own product record said 5000 K for the top setting; the datasheet says 5700 K, and we have published that.
✅ At 49.5 mm it is shallow, which is the practical difference from the deep-set DEEP-13: this one fits where there is very little ceiling space.
Cutout Ø90–95 mm, face Ø110 mm, height 49.5 mm, aluminium. 13 W LED giving 1,130 / 1,300 / 1,220 lm at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K, dip switch, set before installation; CRI >90, 60° beam, power factor ≥0.9, 50,000 hrs, operating −20 °C to 45 °C. Tiltable. TRIO (dimmable with a suitable dimmer) or DALI (addressable). 220–240 V AC, IP65 — dust tight, protected against water jets. Warranty 3 years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes to both. IP65 is dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so it suits bathrooms and ensuites, above a bath, laundries, and covered outdoor areas like alfresco ceilings, verandahs and carports. It is rated −20 to 45°C. Your electrician still sites it to the zones in AS/NZS 3000 — the rating is a capability, not a permission.
5700 K. Our own product record said 5000 K and the datasheet says 5700 K, so we have published 5700. It matters: 5700 K is noticeably colder and bluer than 5000, it is excellent in a laundry or garage and harsh in a bathroom you linger in, and it is set on a dip switch before installation with no way to change it afterwards.
How faithfully colours read. Most downlights sit around 80. Above 90 means colours look as they do in daylight — and this is a bathroom fitting, where the thing you look at under it is your own face. A low-CRI light over a mirror drains skin.
TRIO for a house — it dims from a standard suitable dimmer. DALI is addressable digital control for a building management or lighting-control system, giving per-fitting addressing and scenes, and it needs a DALI bus and controller. Do not buy DALI for a domestic bathroom unless you already have the system to drive it.
Yes — it is only 49.5 mm deep, which is the practical difference from the deep-set DEEP-13. The cutout is Ø90–95 mm, a usefully forgiving range if you are replacing existing fittings.
1,130 lumens at 3000 K, 1,300 at 4000 K and 1,220 at 5700 K — about 100 lumens per watt at the 4000 K setting, which is efficient for a sealed wet-area fitting.
At ≥0.9 it draws current efficiently, which counts if you are running a lot of them on one circuit. It is the sort of figure a specifier asks for and a product page almost never gives.
