The Domus ZAC-PRO-5 square recessed, 24 V is a low-voltage recessed step light — 12/24 V DC, 5 W, 305–365 lumens, CRI ≥90, IP65, dimmable, in black or white.
⭐ Title 24V; datasheet 12/24V DC requiring a constant-voltage driver wired in parallel; record voltage = 240V, ac_dc = AC. ⭐⭐ MAINS CONNECTION DESTROYS IT INSTANTLY AND IS A SHOCK AND FIRE RISK. THE TITLE IS RIGHT AND THE RECORD IS WRONG. ⭐ Confirmed with two independent signals — 14 products flagged by datasheet, 26 by title, 12 by both — where the intersection is the answer because each list's false positives are excluded by the other. ⚠ LED drivers appear in the title list and are NOT faults: a driver's 240 V input is correctly recorded while its title names the 12 V output.
⭐ Dimmable with a dimmable driver. ⛔ The mains ZAC-PRO-5 is not. ⭐ The dimming lives in the driver, which on a low-voltage fitting is external and therefore yours to choose. ⭐ ALL 6 low-voltage step lights in the range dim; ⚠ 4 of 10 mains ones do too, so it is a strong tendency rather than a law. ⭐ It matters because over-brightness is the commonest fault in low-level lighting, and a dimmer fixes it on site rather than by changing fittings.

No. Its title says 24V, its datasheet says 12/24V DC and requires a constant-voltage driver, and its record publishes voltage = 240V with ac_dc = AC. Connecting it to mains destroys it instantly and is a shock and fire risk. Twelve products carry the fault, confirmed two independent ways: 14 by datasheet, 26 by title, 12 by both.
Ø100mm without the recessed box. With the box, we publish 110 x 110mm — but note that this product's own sheet says Ø110mm, a round figure for a square product. Its 240V twin's sheet gives 110 x 110mm, which is the one that makes sense, and the Ø was almost certainly carried over from the round version's sheet. A square fitting in a round hole leaves gaps at the corners that the trim cannot cover.
Because it depends on whether you fit the recessed box, and nothing on the listing flags that. Four products in this range publish two cutouts. On a step light the hole is in masonry, a concrete stair or a rendered wall — the one dimension that cannot be corrected once cut, so the box decision has to come first.
It disappears. A recessed fitting is invisible in daylight in a way a surface one never is, and on a considered facade or a clean stair that is the whole reason to accept the extra work. A square recessed unit also aligns with brick courses, tile grids and paver joints — set to the course it reads as part of the wall, where a circle in coursed brickwork always reads as applied.
Take the surface-mounted ZEKE-PRO instead. It is the same engine with the same output and the same CRI, and it needs no hole at all. With the recessed version the hole is permanent — choosing the box, the shape and the position is one decision made before anyone cuts, and changing your mind means patching masonry.
