Product Description
xThe Domus NEO-SM TILT is a surface-mounted, tiltable LED downlight in 10 W (Ø90 mm) or 20 W (Ø115 mm), black or white, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K and a 60° beam.
✅ It needs no hole in the ceiling. This is a surface fitting: it mounts to the face of the ceiling, so the Ø90 mm and Ø115 mm figures are the body diameter, not a cutout.
That makes it the fitting for the ceilings a recessed downlight cannot go into — concrete slabs, rated ceilings that must stay intact, shallow voids, and rentals where you are not cutting anything. It still tilts, so it can still be aimed.
Why the tilt matters more here than on a recessed downlight
- A 60° beam is a wide flood. Tilted, it washes a wall or a run of joinery rather than pooling on the floor — useful over a bench, a bookcase or artwork.
- Surface fittings sit proud, so the aim is visible. Set them consistently along a run or the ceiling will look untidy in a way recessed downlights hide.
- ⚠ It projects 110 mm (10 W) or 122 mm (20 W) below the ceiling. In a room with a low ceiling that is real head height, and it will be within reach.
Choosing between the 10 W and the 20 W
- 10 W, Ø90 mm — 880 lm at 3000 K, 960 lm at 4000 K, 945 lm at 5000 K. General room lighting on a 2.4–2.7 m ceiling; the size most people want.
- 20 W, Ø115 mm — twice the power in a body 25 mm wider and 12 mm deeper. For higher ceilings, or where you want fewer fittings.
- ⛔ We are not publishing a lumen figure for the 20 W. Only the 10 W datasheet carries output in the data we hold, and doubling the 10 W number would be a guess. Ask us and we will get it from Domus.
The colour switch, and how to use it
A dip switch on the back selects the colour temperature before the fitting goes up. ✅ On this product that switch is correctly recorded — not every colour-switchable claim in this catalogue survives its own datasheet.
- 3000 K — living areas, bedrooms, anywhere the light is meant to feel warm.
- 4000 K — kitchens, laundries, garages, home offices.
- 5000 K — workshops and task areas.
- ⚠ Set every fitting on a circuit to the same position. One switch left on 4000 K in a run of 3000 K is obvious from across the room.
Dimming, and the numbers behind it
Dimmable, CRI ≥80, power factor 0.85, 50,000 hours, rated −20 °C to 45 °C. 240 V AC, IP20.
⚠ IP20 means dry interiors only. This is not a bathroom or an alfresco fitting, and the wide temperature range describes tolerance, not weather protection.

Questions
Do I need to cut a hole for it?
No. This is a surface-mounted downlight — it fixes to the face of the ceiling, so the Ø90 mm and Ø115 mm figures are the body diameter, not a cutout. That is exactly why it exists: concrete slabs, rated ceilings that must stay intact, shallow voids and rentals where nothing is being cut.
How far does it hang below the ceiling?
110 mm for the 10 W and 122 mm for the 20 W. On a standard 2.4 m ceiling that is worth checking against head height and against anything that swings — a door, a cupboard, a bunk.
How bright is the 20 W version?
We are not publishing a figure, and that is deliberate. Only the 10 W datasheet carries lumen output in the data we hold — 880 lm at 3000 K, 960 at 4000 K, 945 at 5000 K. Doubling those for the 20 W would be a guess. Ask us and we will get the figure from Domus.
How does the colour switching work?

Can I use it in a bathroom or under an alfresco?
No. It is IP20, which means dry interiors only. The −20 °C to 45 °C rating describes the temperatures it tolerates, not weather protection — those are two different things and it is easy to read the wide range as outdoor capability.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with a suitable dimmer. Tell us the dimmer you intend to use and we will tell you whether it is a sensible pairing before you buy both.
Why choose this over a recessed downlight?
Only when you cannot or will not cut the ceiling — concrete, a rated ceiling, a shallow void, a rental. A recessed fitting is tidier where a hole is possible. What this one keeps that most surface fittings lose is the tilt, so it can still be aimed at a wall, a bench or artwork.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
