9 W fixed deep-face LED downlight. 785 / 920 / 865 lm at 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K switchable. 60° beam. IP54. SMD. Ø90 mm cutout. Dimmable. Metal body, white polycarbonate fascia. 240 V AC. 3-year replacement warranty. ⭐ 60° IS NARROW FOR A DOWNLIGHT — the pool is roughly 1.15× the mounting height, so from a 2.4 m ceiling onto a bench it is about 1.7 m across, and 1.5 m centres is a sensible starting grid. ⚠ It is NOT a like-for-like swap for a 90° fitting on the same grid: you get a crisper effect and you need more of them.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Tighter centres than you may be used to. The pool width is roughly 1.15 times the mounting height above the working plane, so from a 2.4m ceiling onto a bench at 900mm that is about 1.7m across. For an even level, space them at about that width or a little less — 1.5m centres from a 2.4m ceiling is a sensible starting grid, and at 2.5m centres you will see scalloping.
Not like for like if the existing fittings are wide-beam. Many general downlights are 90 degrees or wider, and a 60 degree fitting on the same grid will leave scallops between the pools. You get a crisper, more defined effect and you need more fittings to achieve the same evenness. Tell us the existing grid and we will work out what it needs.
Yes: 785 lumens at 3000K, 920 at 4000K and 865 at 5000K — a 17% spread from the same 9W, with the peak at 4000K rather than at the top of the range. A room left on 3000K delivers about 15% less than one on 4000K, so plan on the setting you will actually use.
Dust protection as well as splash resistance. IP44 protects against splashing water and solid objects above 1mm; IP54 adds limited dust ingress protection. That makes it suitable for a bathroom, a laundry or a covered outdoor soffit where a fitting will see both moisture and airborne dust.
The LED is recessed further into the housing, so the source is not visible at normal viewing angles — it is the glare-control version. The trade-off is depth: check the plenum space above the ceiling as well as the aperture, since a deep housing needs more room above the lining.
No — it is fixed, and that is an advantage for general lighting. All the output goes to the floor, so it counts fully toward a lux calculation, where a tilted fitting contributes much less to a horizontal reading. If you need to aim light at a wall or artwork, ask us about the tiltable versions.
Yes. Tell us the dimmer you plan to use and we will confirm compatibility — switchable-CCT fittings are sometimes fussier about dimmer type than single-temperature ones because the driver has more to do.
