The Domus CELL-9-5CCT-T90 is a 9 W tiltable LED downlight with five switchable colour temperatures, a 60° beam and an Ø110 mm fascia. Cutout Ø80–85 mm.

Why the tilt version needs a smaller hole than the fixed one

• The tilt mechanism sits inside the fascia, not above the ceiling. So the body that passes through the hole is narrower while the visible trim stays wide enough to cover it.
• ✅ That is also why it is shallower — and the T-series is genuinely shallow: the T75 is 71 mm and this one is around 73 mm, against 96 mm for the fixed D90.
• ⚠ Our record shows 61 mm and the datasheet says 73 mm. If the void is tight, work to 73 mm and ask us to confirm.

⭐ Five colour temperatures, including 2700 K

• 2700 K — ⭐ extra warm, and rare in this catalogue, which mostly starts at 3000 K. Bedrooms and hospitality.
• 3000 K — living areas, and the right choice washing warm timber or brick.
• 4000 K — kitchens and offices, and better on grey stone or concrete.
• 5000 K / 5700 K — task and inspection.
• ⚠ Set by dip switch before installation. On a wall-wash run set them all the same — a colour difference between two fittings is far more visible on a lit wall than on a floor, because you see both pools at once.

9 W or 13 W?

• The CELL system runs in both. Same five colour temperatures, same beam options on the module, same frames.
• ✅ 9 W suits standard ceilings, hallways, bedrooms and general residential lighting — and it is the more common choice.
• ✅ 13 W suits higher ceilings and commercial spaces, or where fewer fittings are wanted.
• ⚠ The 13 W T90's recorded depth is 100 mm against this one's ~73 mm, so the two are not interchangeable in a tight void. Tell us the ceiling and we will size it.

Why tilt, and when not to

• ✅ Aim light at something — a wall, a stone or timber feature, artwork — from a recessed fitting rather than a visible track head.
• ✅ Adjust after the room is furnished, which is the real advantage over planning an aim from a drawing.
• ⛔ Not for a plain general-lighting run. A fixed downlight seals better and stays aligned; tilt heads drift out of true over time and it shows.
• ⚠ 60° is a wide wash — good for washing a wall, too wide for picking out a single object. Ask us about the bare CELL module in 15° or 24° with a frame for a tight accent.

The replaceable module

• ✅ CELL is a module-and-frame system, and the 9 W lamp module inside clicks out.
• ✅ When it fails, or when the colour or beam needs to change, the frame and the ceiling stay untouched. On a commercial fit-out that is a maintenance visit rather than a rebuild.
• ⚠ Ask us to quote spare modules alongside the fittings on a larger job.

• 9 W COB LED, CRI ≥80, dimmable, 50,000 hours, 200–240 V 50–60 Hz.
• ⚠ IP44 “from the underside of the downlight once installed into the ceiling” — the datasheet's own wording. Protection from the room side, not a sealed fitting in the void.
• ⚠ No lumen output is recorded for this fitting. ✅ For reference, the 13 W CELL module is recorded at roughly 1,000–1,160 lm depending on colour, so a 9 W will be proportionately lower. Ask us for the real figures.
