The Domus CELL-9-5CCT-D90 is a 9 W fixed LED downlight with five switchable colour temperatures and an Ø100 mm fascia. Cutout Ø90–92 mm.
✅ This is the standard-aperture retrofit in the CELL range. Ø90–92 mm is the common Australian downlight hole, so it drops into most existing ceilings without patching.
⚠ That is worth stating plainly, because the naming across this family is not a reliable guide to the cutout. The D90 and the T75 both match their names; the T90 does not — it takes Ø80–85 mm.
| Model | Cutout | Fascia | Depth |
|---|---|---|---|
| D90 (this) | ✅ Ø90–92 mm | Ø100 mm | 96 mm |
| DT90 (tilt) | Ø90–92 mm | Ø100 mm | 96 mm |
| T90 (tilt) | ⛔ Ø80–85 mm | Ø110 mm | ~73 mm |
| T75 (tilt) | Ø72–75 mm | Ø90 mm | 71 mm |
✅ If you are replacing existing downlights, this or the DT90 is what you want.
9 W COB LED fixed downlight, CELL system. Cutout Ø90–92 mm. Ø100 mm fascia, 96 mm deep. Beam 60°. Five switchable colour temperatures — 2700 / 3000 / 4000 / 5000 / 5700 K, by dip switch. CRI ≥80, dimmable, 50,000 hrs, 200–240 V. Black or white. ⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed. ✅ A tiltable equivalent, the DT90, shares the same cutout, fascia and depth. ⚠ Lumen output is not recorded — ask us. Warranty 3 years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Very likely — the cutout is Ø90–92 mm, which is the common Australian downlight aperture, so it drops into most existing ceilings without patching. That is the main reason to choose this one over the smaller CELL fittings. Do check the depth as well: it is 96 mm, which is deeper than the tiltable T-series.
For this one, yes — Ø90–92 mm, confirmed on its own datasheet. The naming across the CELL family is not a reliable guide though: the D90 and T75 both match their names, but the T90 takes Ø80–85 mm, not 90. Read the cutout figure rather than the name, and if you are unsure, tell us the hole you have and we will match the fitting.
Tilt. They share the same Ø90–92 mm cutout, the same Ø100 mm fascia and the same 96 mm depth — so a mixed run cuts to one hole size and the trims match. Use the fixed D90 for general ceiling lighting, where it seals better and stays aligned, and the DT90 where something needs aiming at a wall, joinery or artwork.
9 W for standard ceilings, hallways, bedrooms and general residential lighting — the more common choice. 13 W for higher ceilings and commercial spaces, or where you want fewer fittings. Usefully, the 13 W D90 shares this fitting's Ø100 mm fascia and 96 mm depth, so you can step the wattage up or down later without recutting the ceiling.
A 2700 K setting at the warm end, which almost nothing else in this catalogue offers — most switchable fittings start at 3000 K. On a retrofit it has a second use: you can match the colour of the old downlights in the rooms you have not changed yet, so a house being done in stages does not end up with two different whites.
60° on the assembled fitting — a general-purpose spread. The bare CELL module is also sold in 15°, 24° and 36°, so if you need a narrower beam, ask us about a module with a separate frame instead. Because the module is replaceable, that is also a decision you can revisit later.
Yes. CELL is a module-and-frame system and the 9 W lamp module clicks out, so when it fails — or when the colour or beam needs changing — the frame and the ceiling stay untouched. On a commercial fit-out that is the difference between a maintenance visit and a rebuild.
