The Domus CELL-13-5CCT-D90 is a 13 W fixed LED downlight with five switchable colour temperatures, an Ø100 mm fascia, in black or white.

⛔ Confirm the cutout with us before anyone marks a ceiling.

✅ The cutout is Ø90–92 mm — the standard Australian downlight aperture — taken from the CELL-9-D90 datasheet. The two fittings share the same Ø100 mm fascia and the same 96 mm depth, so they are the same frame in two wattages.

⚠ The Ø100 mm on our own record is the visible fascia, not the hole, and the datasheet attached to this listing is the CELL-13 module's, whose cutout line describes a rectangular SLOTCELL frame. Work to Ø90–92 mm, and we will confirm it in writing on request.

✅ That makes this a straight retrofit into most existing ceilings, which is the main reason to choose the D90 over the D75.

Probably, and that is the main reason to choose the D90 — its name points to a 90 mm cutout, which is the standard Australian downlight aperture. But we will confirm it with Domus in writing before you cut, because no source we hold actually records the cutout: the Ø100 mm on our record is the visible fascia, and the attached datasheet is the CELL module's, whose cutout line describes a rectangular SLOTCELL frame.

Should I choose the D90 or the D75?

The D90 when replacing existing downlights, because Ø90 mm is the common Australian hole and no patching is needed. The D75 on a new ceiling where a smaller aperture reads better and nothing is being matched. Both are 13 W with the same five colour temperatures and the same recorded 96 mm depth; the fascias are Ø100 mm and Ø85 mm respectively.

How deep does the ceiling void need to be?

96 mm is recorded, which is deeper than many downlights, so check the clearance above. Worth knowing: the D75 records exactly the same 96 mm despite a 15 mm smaller fascia — plausible, but the two share every other recorded figure as well. If the void is tight, tell us and we will measure one before it ships.

Does it tilt?

No — this is the fixed version, firing straight down. A fixed downlight seals better and stays aligned in a run, where a tilt version can drift out of true with its neighbours over time. The T90 is the tiltable equivalent at the same aperture with an Ø110 mm fascia; use that where you are deliberately aiming at a wall, joinery or artwork.

What beam angle does it have?

Not recorded on this listing, which is a genuine gap — the module inside it is sold in four beam angles: 15°, 24°, 36° and 60°. Ask us which is fitted to the assembled version, because a 15° accent and a 60° wash are effectively two different fittings.

Can I replace just the lamp when it fails?

Yes. CELL is a module-and-frame system, and the 13 W lamp module inside clicks out — so when it fails, or when the colour or beam needs changing, the frame and the ceiling stay untouched. On a large job it is worth asking us to quote spare modules alongside the fittings.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Outside the shower zone. The datasheet's exact wording is IP44 "from the underside of the downlight once installed into the ceiling" — protection from the room side rather than a sealed fitting in the void, and it does not apply before installation. Subject to your electrician and the zones in AS/NZS 3000.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
