Aqua-13 - 13W Led Dimmable Deep Face Wet Area Downlight Ip65 240V

The Domus AQUA-13 is a 13 W IP65 wet-area downlight in black or white — fixed, CRI above 90, a 60° beam, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K, Ø90–95 mm cutout, in TRIO or DALI.

Fixed or tiltable — a real decision, not a detail

• Fixed (this one) — straight down, and there is nothing to knock out of alignment. In a bathroom that is usually right: you want even light over the room and the mirror, not accents. It is also 64.3 mm deep, and simpler to seal.
• Tiltable — for aiming at a mirror, a shower niche, artwork or a feature wall, and for correcting a fitting that had to be positioned around a joist. Slightly shallower at 49.5 mm.

✅ In most bathrooms, fixed is the better buy: fewer moving parts in a wet area, and tiltable downlights are routinely installed and never adjusted.

IP65 — what it lets you do

Dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction.

• Bathrooms and ensuites, closer to the shower than an IP44 fitting.
• Above a bath.
• Laundries, alfresco ceilings, verandahs and carports.

Rated −20 °C to 45 °C. ⚠ Your electrician still sites it to the zones in AS/NZS 3000.

✅ CRI above 90, and the numbers behind it

• 1,130 lm at 3000 K, 1,300 lm at 4000 K, 1,220 lm at 5700 K.
• 100 lm/W at 4000 K.
• CRI above 90 — most downlights sit at 80. In a bathroom you are judging your own face under it, and that is the difference.
• Power factor ≥0.9, 50,000 hours, aluminium.
• Cutout Ø90–95 mm, height 64.3 mm.

⚠ The top setting is 5700 K

Our record says 5000 K; the datasheet says 5700 K, which is colder and bluer. Set on a dip switch before installation, with no way back afterwards.

• 4000 K — the right answer for most bathrooms.
• 3000 K — warmer, for a bathroom off a bedroom.
• ⚠ 5700 K — laundry and garage territory.

Where it works

• Bathrooms, ensuites and above a bath — IP65, CRI 90+.
• Laundries, alfresco ceilings, verandahs and carports.
• Even general lighting where nothing needs aiming.
• ⚠ This one does NOT tilt, whatever the web address says.
• ⚠ Choose 4000 K; the top setting is 5700, not 5000.
